What a great little shop! There is a wide variety of foods and snacks that will save you a long drive to a city when looking for specialty items. Prices were extremely competitive. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Great selection of must-have Asian products that may not be found in Western stores, and more!! Lots of snacks to enjoy while you take your chances next door at the gachas!

I love this store! And the new gacha gacha store they opened next door is great. The people working are always so kind, and the store prices are very reasonable. Fantastic place.

Small store but they have pretty much everything you need! If you are looking for fresh fish, Japanese bread or something specific, they have order sheets that you can fill out and they will place order for you. Price is reasonable and some stuffs are even cheaper than Tensuke market in Columbus.
Workers are really friendly and helpful.

Since the expansion, there are more choices! My husband is Filipino, so the few Filipino things that they do have are great!

Under new ownership, this shop is a wonderful place to find Japanese groceries. It’s not big with a huge selection, but it has the important essentials to make authentic Japanese meals and get some favorite Japanese snacks. I’m surprised how much they fit in the space. Employees were friendly and helpful and chatted with us in Japanese.

Amazing store! The owners are great! Everyone here has such a positive attitude and are very helpful. They have a biggest selection of traditional Asian foods in the area. The owners and staff make this place a truly wonderful experience. The blue raspberry popsicles are the best!!!!!!

Good little store to get authentic Japanese food. If you want to add a little spice to your life and try something a little different, I would definitely recommend coming here. They don't have a huge selection but they definitely fit quite a bit in this little store. Also, for the little ones they have a cool little selection of authentic japanese toys that you can get get your tokens from up front and let the little ones try it out! Will definitely be visiting again.

Super friendly tiny grocery specializing in Japanese imports. Candy, snacks, food and some kitchen supplies. Also a selection of gacha machines! Super fun!

a new exciting destination in Piqua, Called Nippon Food Store. Filled with Japanese foods and an extremely friendly staff, Nippon also features a Gashapon wall with many hard to find and exciting toys!! Nippon is only an hour from Columbus, just above Dayton on a gorgeous ride through the countryside.

I love this store, they have a great selection of a wide variety of products! The staff is very polite and helpful! They also change there selection of snacks and candies pretty often which is great for any local foodies!

The owner seemed to switch recently. I live in Dayton, so I need them to buy authentic Japanese foods and ingredients. For example, shirodashi and okonomiyaki-ko, tsukemono, etc........

Great selection of authentic Japanese foods. Also has a frozen foods section, books, movies, shampoos and soaps, etc. Bring cash, I don't think they take credit.

Absolutely love this local small Japanese market. I miss all the ethnic food stores in LA and this was a prize find. There are many items not found in our local US stores and the staff are willing to help find items and do a bit of translation if possible. I'm able to get my favorite udon noodles, fresh bamboo shoots and can even walk into the back room to select fresh vegetables and mushrooms in the coolers there. The isles are a bit narrow, but still allow access for a stroller. The door was accessible since I walk, but the back sidewalk does not have a curb cut or ramp on both sides of the building. My service cats and I were warmly welcomed and no whispers, stares or interruptions from other shoppers.

The store has many varieties of Japanese rice cracker chips. Same or better than other Asian grocery stores. I was pleasantly surprised. Their frozen food selection included hand made dumplings!! Can't wait to try. The shop keeper was very friendly.

If you want to try Asian cooking, they sell thin sliced meat here.

A perfect pitstop right off 75! Perfect for grabbing road snacks and drinks.
Also covers the basics for Japanese cooking and household items. Not much in the way of blending over into Korean or Chinese groceries however, which is perfectly fine, just forewarning people if they think it's a multi-stock store. Only Japanese products.

Very pleased with the overall selection of the products here! I no longer have to drive to Cincinnati to get Japanese food! They were also surprised that I speak Japanese too, so the service was better for me (I guess). Only question for me is why do books have to be paid in cash, but what the heck. They're only $1 anyway, so it doesn't bother me much.
