Stayed for a few months, awesome staff, fun events. Had to leave our camper to get some work done and they did an excellent job! Highly recommend them all the way around.

Believe the reviews when they say you are in the middle of a corn field ! We actually loved this spot for the night. We had been stuck in our previous site with hitch issues, so arriving here after a long day of travel was just what we needed. We arrived after hours, but that was not an issue. We were able to find our spot just fine, and thankfully we stay at a time that was not too busy. We had 50 amp hook up + water. NO sewer, but we did use the dump station prior to leaving. Our site was pull through, a little unlevel (but fine) and it was all grass. Cell service was low for us, but our Starlink worked. It was beautiful at night due to zero light pollution.

The days at poorfamers:

We have been at poorfamers for 7 seasons had 3 different spots and moved into our second camper. What can I say the days are long and the nights are fun, a place to cut loose, relax, and enjoy your extended weekend family. Through the years I have met some "unique" weekenders and some cool people, but that is what makes this campground great. The tractor pulls, car shows, flea market weekends, and camper planned events like cornhole, and rib cook offs were new to us but through the years we find ourselves looking forward to attending them.

We (my wife) have finally found the perfect spot for us(my wife) to kick back and relax to our fullest and enjoy the peace and quiet. We hustle and bustle all week long and when it comes to the weekend all we want to do is come relax with good friends, share horrible week stories, and eat good food.
Thanks PF for providing a place for us and our friends to camp and enjoy our time away from home.

Loved it here and would definitely come back! A lot of space between RV’s, lots of green grass, cute small town nearby and the staff were fantastic! Great sight-seeing spots nearby too!

We loved our stay. The Creek was full of crawdads which was entertainment for our children. Bathrooms were clean, showers were hot, and there were activities scheduled. We will be back.

We took her son here for his first trick-or-treat experience. Of course it was a trunk or treat and car show. Even though he had a 30 minute nap he seemed to really enjoy it which makes me a happy mama.

Even though it is 7 miles from I-75, it was worth it for us coming north from Florida. All we needed was electric. They put us in the consignment rv area, actually on the gravel road, not in a site. We were grateful.
I had to drive around this loop to get closer to the electric plug.
We would do it again. We didn't use any other of their park.

Pleasant, spacious campground, just far enough off the highway. Our site backed up to the stream. Do plan on using bug spray.

My husband and I stay at Poor Farmers often. I highly recommend this place, and I’m very picky. Out in the country with gorgeous views, And only 15/20 minutes to Piqua and Troy. The staff is wonderful, very helpful and friendly and will go out of their way to help you. They ARE very pet friendly, (we have two cats and a dog) you just have to clean up after your pets and keep them on a leash. The bathrooms are clean and air-conditioned. The grounds are very well maintained and they have pump out service for a small fee (if you get a site that doesn’t have septic) and RV service and repair. They installed our new air conditioner and did a fantastic job. They also have fun events here. We will be staying here every time we come to Ohio. Don’t be fooled by a poor review. This park is awesome. You should definitely check it out.

We live in Piqua, drove to Urbana to look at a used camper someone owned. It was a 2015 and well used but not trash. On our way back we stopped in to Poor Farmers to look and ended up purchasing a 2018 Cherokee almost like new. Friendly service and very informative. The camper was a consignment one owner and took our offer slightly below their asking price. Really nice people and family owned I think.

This is a great campsite and we would definitely choose Poor Farmers again when traveling through Ohio. The rates were very reasonable, the pull through site was great, the people were very friendly and helpful. They have a dump station and the showers were amazing. The showers were hot, clean, roomy and even had a/c running in them. This is definitely a well cared for campsite and a go to on our list.

Everything here is so beautiful; I feel Im in a Hallmark movie! Enchantingly full of both natural and lovingly cultivated grounds to walk peacefully or play. So much room to breathe the sweet air.

The best part though is the PEOPLE. They remind you by example to slow down your pace. They are kind, helpful, and I can't say enough about how genuine and unpretentious they truly are.
I'm taking time commuting from camp to the city for the next week to prepare the home I bought for installing appliances and so forth.

But I am posting my review now as I believe my experiences will remain consistent. The entire staff is professional yet so down to earth you feel there's still hope for the world!!
I'll definitely come back to just get away for the beautiful grand scenery, huge green and pristine lawns and trees of all kinds.
Oh. The birds are gorgeous. They sing but no cackling. Just heavenly. Spotted brightly colored birds walking on the lawns and flapping in the warm drizzle. The temperature was perfect!

These are my kinda people. Very thankful to have discovered this community-like place as they let you do your own thing while letting you know you can reach out if you need something. I love Poor Farmers--you can't buy what they have here unless you're rich in something more important that lets you appreciate what special grace has has visited here and the beauty the people created from it!!
