Fantastic atmosphere and fun place to hang. The owner and the other workers there are super fun and helpful. I go there once or twice every few months and every time there's something new to listen. Definitely recommend for people that into more "underground" music and lesser known artists.

LongHair has the all the rarities no other record store I’ve visited has. The entire experience was amazing. I was like a kid in a toy store and would have stayed hours if I didn’t have a designated shopper with me. Staff was friendly helpful and knowledgeable about all the stuff they were selling.

This record store is dope. I've been too quite a few record stores before, but I've not seen a "City Pop" before. Vinyl junkies will like this place. The staff are also really nice and will happily suggest artists for specific genres. On top of all this, a lot of the records have descriptions of what the record will sound like. Small detail, but super helpful when listening to artists from other countries or unknown artists.

I am probably not their demographic at 70 but all of the folks have been wonderful. No question return policy if I’m unhappy with fidelity-it’s happened once, friendly advice and informed guidance on record cleaning. Add to that a very good and interesting selection of vinyl and you’ve got a gem of a shop.

Great shop! Erin is awesome! He is very knowledgeable and knows exactly what we like, so he guides us right to it. They sell only top-quality merchandise. Best record store I've been to in years.

My partner and I spent so much time in here looking at all of the VHS. This is the perfect spot if you collect VHS. Customer service was amazing and the staff was so nice. Looking forward to coming back to Albuquerque just for this shop!

These guys are awesome. They treat their customers like friends and have a super cool selection of records, tapes, books, and more. I seriously recommend this place for any vinyl/vintage junkies in ABQ.

Great shop. Each price tag label has a short printed description of the record, which I thought was a really great touch. They have great records for a few bucks, as well as rare pricier ones for collectors. Friendly and interesting staff. All around great experience.

Honestly had the best experience shopping here! Extremely organized, friendly, knowledgeable, and amazing selection— something for EVERYONE. Great prices, and every record is washed and played through to ensure impeccable quality. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone I meet. Can’t wait to come back and see what they get in stock!! The owner and his partner are awesome people. 🤩

One of the best collectible vinyl record shops I've been to across numerous cities in the U.S. Aaron is very knowledgeable, fair, and well rounded with his inventory. In fact, his label and grading system of LP's is hands down the most quality I've seen. I always find a buy every time I come in the store. In addition, they carry lots of collectible items across VHS, TV's, and books. Great spot if you are a local or passing by.

What a cool store. They are super passionate about what they do and great representatives of Albuquerque music. A must see place for those that love music in Albuquerque. I hope it is a mainstay for many years to come. They’ve got a great selection of records, vhs, books, cassettes… a great collection.

Check them out and long live Long Hair Records!!!

Small but really great local record shop. The guy who runs and owns it really knows his music and is always down to chat and make recommendations. He has a really nice, well curated selection with a lot of albums you wouldn't find at other places, and is constantly bringing in new merchandise. Most of the records are play tested which is really great when buying used vinyl, and there is also a listening station to play it yourself before you buy. I always leave the store with something awesome to listen to.

Fantastic record store. Don't let the size fool you, you'll find a healthy selection of obscure wax and occult tomes to browse. The owner is one of the nicest dudes ever, and has turned me onto a plethora of music since I started frequenting his store. Gives a great price for your unwanted vinyl, as well.

Overall, I'm hesitant to buy records elsewhere. This is the stop.

Despite being small in size, there is quite a variety of music for sale! (Including some stuff you wouldn’t likely find elsewhere in town (especially when it comes to electronic music on Vinyl)

I always manage to find something exciting or interesting whenever I go!

The owner is a pretty nice guy and is knowledgeable about alot of music!

I’m looking forward to what the future holds of this shop!

An absolutely incredible local shop if you’re into record collecting for more niche finds that won’t be in the mom and pop bins in the antique malls. The store proprietor, Ehren, is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The selection of metal, punk, synth, reggae, hip hop, etc. is top notch! They also have a mind blowing array of cassettes, books, and movies that are all top shelf! Not to mention, Longhair hosts local and touring bands from time to time in their space. ABQ is lucky to have a store like this that offers a selection that is above and beyond compared to a lot of the other record stores in town!

The owner goes out of his way to help. Amazing selection, wonderful atmosphere. If you love vinyl, VHS, etc you will feel at home. The owner host live shows as well. My only regret is I don't spend more time there. Great place.
