Rite Aid

So far I have had no problems getting my prescriptions filled at this location. They have always been prompt or let me know if there would be a delay because of shipping. (Opt into text alert to make this easier.) Cheryl is so friendly and helpful. I am happy to see her smile at the front desk when I walk in.

Walked in for my annual flu shot and if a flu shot could be enjoyable, this time it was! Enjoyed bantering with the staff, they answered my questions, and walked me through their process. The pharmacist actually gave me the shot…never had that happen before! The store was clean and bright and shelves well stocked. Will certainly visit them more often, great service!

I have had only positive experiences the couple of times that I've been so far. Everyone has been very nice, helpful and professional! They're just starting and taking over all of Scottsville Pharmacy's patients so I'm sure it's been difficult for them and they have been very busy when I've been there so I think they're doing a wonderful job considering!

I have always been treated with courtesy when at Rite-Aid. The lady that works there has always greeted me and she is willing to help me with whatever I need. Positive experiences all way around.

I had an easy time getting a person on the phone, as well a getting my mother’s prescription filled. I think people are taking their frustrations out about the pharmacy change in the comments.

Very friendly and knowledgeable. Helpful and curitious.

This store closes during each weekday for a 1/2 hour. They should indicate what time they are closed so people to waste a trip to only find out they are closed.

This new Pharmacy is horrible.
One problem after another after another.
And the Pharmacist likes to wave his hand rudly if you disagree, if you question his errors..
Pharmacist states he already called the dr which was untrue. Dr. stated he had no record of Rite Aid calling.
Pulling out all our medications.

I was going to change my prescriptions because this pharmacy is closer to me. However, these people are so incompetent. The staff and pharmacist are in capable of even answering the phone with basic human decency. I would never trust such rude, disgusting people with my health, and well being.

This pharmacy is an absolute disaster for Scottsville. Basic needs cannot be filled in a timely manner, such as cough medicine. The family pharmacy that was located here should have never been moved. Go elsewhere.

3 days ago I made an appt for a covid booster. I rec'd several test msgs reminding me of the appt. I showed up and they said they don't have any vaccine!! The pharmacist never acknowledged me even though he passed directly in front of me on way to the refrigerator, and left it too the gal at the counter to tell me they had no vaccine!
Every time I have gone in this pharmacy, not once have I been greeted by a pharmacist. This never would have happened at Scottsville Pharmacy. Even at Wegmans the pharmacist are courteous and seem to enjoy their job. Both were always friendly, had the vaccines, and genuinely cared about you, not just pill peddling. I am moving to Roanoke, but I will not use Rite Aid, ever.

Like everyone else I was forced to switch to this Rite Aid after the closing of the Scottsville pharmacy. The service at this Rite Aid is just nothing short of abysmal, save yourself some grief and just drive to CVS in Charlottesville.

Terrible. It is impossible to get through to them on the phone. You get directed to a voice mailbox that says, "This mailbox is full." Because of that, you have to go to Rite Aid to ask for your prescription. They tell you it will take 15 minutes, but it actually takes 30. When I told them about the full mailbox, they responded that they don't have time to answer the phone or look at the messages because they are serving customers in the store.

They are now answering the phone but hang up on you!

We pay 19.99 a month for a GoodRx Gold card. The GoodRx website shows the price meds should be at RiteAid. They do not honor those prices. Said maybe they do at other Rite Aid stores, but not that one. Well they lost a customer after only two visits.

Very Rude !! No one greets you when you come in the lady at the front just stares at you, She’s very rude sighs when looking for prescriptions, and talks to you as if you have no clue what your asking for! Can’t multitask very well at all. Pharmacist was no help either Rude and inconsiderate as well! I’ll be transferring my Rx’s out!!

Unbelievably rude, unhelpful and judgmental. Flat out refusal to assist me with my issue until next week. As I left the store quite obviously unhappy, the pharmacist called out sarcastically “have a nice day”

Horrible experience! Pharmacist were very very rude to me! They never greet you when you come in and they never have your prescription ready on time I ended having to switch to wegmans pharmacy!! I HOPE THEY GO OUT OF BUSINESS AND EVERYONE GETS FIRED

Assistant Daniel and the pharmacist where very rude and condescending to and female costumes. I seen her get her stuff fill before without issue at Scottsville pharmacy w/o issue but they where not helpful nor willing to be helpful to her. Not happy having rite aid in Scottsville.
