Pickle Papers

An adorable stationary store with some beautiful paper/notebook and a great selection of pens and pencils! I didn't catch her name, but the woman who helped us was so sweet and knowledgeable. Highly recommend you check this place out for your specialty paper, pencil, pen, and greeting card needs!

This is a delightful little store run by a couple of amiable old ladies. I went there last November and this February to pick up grocery and to-do writing pads, which they carry quite a few different kinds. They also stock all sorts of greeting cards, ones you don't see in most stores, art supplies (mostly color pencils, though there are likely other art materials), writing journals, and all sorts of nic nacs (to place descriptions on the stuff there that I didn't pay much attention to at the time). They also stock designer bars of chocolate (brands: Hammond's and Seattle Chocolate) at the register. I typically don't buy chocolate, mainly due to dietary reasons, but they had such an impressive array---I picked up a Mexican Hot Chocolate bar, made of dark chocolate, cinnamon, vanilla, and cayenne pepper. I will definitely go there again, a lot more often, I expect.

Peggy is a staple of Wenatchee charm! She wants her customers to understand what they are buying, how to use it, and to be happy with their purchases. We attended a watercolor marker class which was informative and fun!

A bit spendy, but they do have a good selection of charming pens, pencils, and stationery. Glad to see they are still going strong since the last time I visited.

How have I gone this long without leaving a review?! Pickle Papers has everything you didn't know you needed for any occasion, wonderfully curated by the owner. My favorite store for years! Each card I get from there makes such a statement, you can really tell it's the highest quality. Beautiful ribbon and wrapping paper, fun and thoughtful cards, plus the best assortment of pens and inks in town. Also my go-to place for notebooks, creative little sticky notes and notepads. Fabulous stickers too! Everything I get from there makes for such a unique gift. Peggy and all she employs provide such wonderful service you leave feeling like you made a new friend. Can't go wrong with the Pickle <3

My favorite paper shop of all time. Peggy is a paper expert. She curates such beautiful selections, every time I go in I feel I could spend my life savings. It is more pricey, but everything is clearly chosen for quality, excellence and beauty. It’s a fun place to explore, even if you don’t buy anything and the sales people are always really helpful, friendly and willing to brainstorm for any gift ideas or just giving suggestions. The feeling is creative, relaxed and slow paced. I also love that they offer classes, which you can ask about at the counter. This places is a gift to our community and I’m thankful for it.

Lovely stationary and small gift store. Also carries Retro 51 pens along with many other fine pens and pencils. Great gifts for kids and adults. Complimentary gift wrapping available.

This place is so much fun and the people are always so friendly. But the choice for gifts is just incredible.

Easily my favorite store in Wenatchee! Peggy is always updating the stock and just walking around her creative shop makes me happy. Pens, notebooks, and surprises galore! Just like The Pickle itself, the pen/nib/brush classes are also absolutely wonderful and generous.

The owners and everyone who works here is so kind. If you love all things stationery, writing supplies, greeting cards and more, this is the place for you. Best place to find gifts for just about anybody (yourself included) 😊

I LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH the owner (peggy) is an angel! she's so sweet and we are pen pals now. i was only in wenatchee for 2 weeks and we went here a total of 4 times. i got so many pens and notebooks and sticker sheets. its a stationery nerd's paradise

I absolutely LOVED my visit to this store. My husband was in Pasco on business and I searched papercrafting stores in the general area. It was a bit of a drive, but I made it. I had a ball looking at all the stuff (and I am now a lover of Swedish Dream soaps) and talking to Peggy and others. I was granted a special Pickle Papers pencil from a dwindling stock... I am a pickle for life, I was told. I relish getting emails from Peggy and just ordered the surprise item. I hope it's as good as many other items I have asked them to send to me in PA on other occasions. If you are ever in the area of Wenatchee, do yourself a favor and stop in here!!!

Pickle Papers is one of three places on the ave that my wife and I stop almost every Saturday. The owner (Peggy) is an absolute joy to talk with, and the store has a very respectable selection of cards, papers, notebooks and other writing accoutrements. It is also the best and only supplier for fountain pens and inks in the Wenatchee area, and she has been expanding her selection of pens and inks dramatically in the past year or so! Right now, she caries the entire J. Herbin line of inks, and a quite decent supply of Diamine as well. Also pens ranging from the ~$3 Platinum Preppy up to some quite decent offerings from Pilot and Lamy, and the ever-solid Kaweco Sport series pens. It's most definitely worth a stop when you're in the Wenatchee area! Parking can be a bit of a challenge (as with all stores on the Ave) but it's worth it!

I always adore her children's book selection and can get lost perusing this store. Such unique gift items (and always good for an impulse buy or two as well!)

Perfect place to pick up specialty paper products. I was looking for black envelopes, and she not only had plenty in stock, but various sizes, too. Lots of cool gift ideas in here, too!

Absolute favorite stationary and gift store! Carries everything cute and what you need for lettering and such. Love this place!
