Went to the Discount Tire Centers at the Long Beach
Town Center Saturday to get some services done to my vehicle. I was greeted by Frank who was professional and knowledgeable of the services I need done to my car and answered all my questions that I had that made me feel very comfortable on doing the work that I needed done to my vehicle and honest with me as well. I will definitely come back here again . Thanks Frank.

Came to the Discount Tire Centers to get Brakes done for my car . I spoke to Frank who was very helpful and knowledgeable to get me into the correct parts for my car with a good price . Frank made me feel comfortable about what I was buying and showed me everything that I needed to get the job done right for my car . I will definitely be back thank you Frank .

Came to the store for the first time thing it was a different tire company. I needed my flat fixed and tires rotated, they did it for free even though I didn’t buy my tires from them. Alex and the team were awesome and really took care of me. I was out of there under an hour. Thanks guys I’ll be back

I decided to visit this location because I had a promotion pop up on my Facebook for an oil change and to top off any fluids and rotate my tires. I picked up my truck and only an oil change was done. They called me and told me my fluids were nearly empty and it would be an additional charge of $380. I told them I was not interested in that. I asked my neighbor, who is a mechanic, he told me my fluids were fine nearly full. So I don't understand why I was lied to by the employees at discount tire. Is this a common practice at this franchise?

On Tuesday I ordered 4 tires from a website associated with the business and scheduled for an appointment on 9am on Saturday for the installation. When I arrived at 9am I waited an additional 20 minutes before an employee was able to speak to me. I was then told that the service was going to take an hour to an hour and a half while they transferred the tires from the warehouse to the facility, which seemed reasonable so I decided to wait.

The wait ended being almost 5 hours despite my appointment being for 9am. The car wasn't ready until 1:45pm, and I was told multiple times that I was "next" and the vehicle would be "ready soon" for the whole 5 hour wait. Meanwhile the car was waiting outside in the parking lot not being worked on, so it seemed they were just being dishonest or disingenuous about how long they would take. If they had been honest and communicated to me that there was a delay due to transporting the tires I would have happily come back later, but the lack of/poor communication led me to believe them that my vehicle would be ready "soon". As compensation for the wait I was offered a discount of $10 for a service that was many times more expensive.

When I later asked why it took so long, I was told it was my fault for booking online instead of calling, since their system only tells them of the appointment the morning of. That process in itself seems flawed, and it doesn't explain why it took 4 hours to make the drive to their Santa Fe Springs warehouse and back (which reads as a 30 minute drive to-and-from around 9am, according to both Apple and Google maps) to pick up the tires, and another hour and change for the actual service.

In addition, most of the employees that came through the waiting area were unprofessional, taking personal calls instead of addressing the customers waiting, using lots of foul language, yelling at each other for being behind schedule in front of all the customers, and the list goes on. It also appeared that the other customers were waiting much longer than they were told, and the phrase "we're backed up by over 10 vehicles" was used to explain the multi-hour delay. It's understandable that these delays happen, but communication was lacking so I wasn't the only one waiting for a while.

I would not recommend this business.

I’ll get right into it on CUSTOMER SERVICE at this location. BIG , BIG mistake AMERICA’S TIRE should have never moved out of this location. The service now at Discount Tire just for a Tire Pressure Service was awful, I had to wait for someone for almost 10 mins. and they only had 2 cars in the Bay Area. When they finally notice me some worker not in a uniform came out and I had to ask him if he worked their because he didn’t dress like it. Then I had to tell him what I needed and he then commence to use the “old gas station” air pump to insert air.
MANAGEMENT, CORPORATE & REGIONAL OFFICE are you aware that if you don’t make the necessary improvements in personnel their you might as well take a loss on your lease and close this shop.

Took my car with a tire that was flat in the morning and I was told that there was no leak after one hour and 45 minutes.. The next morning tire was flat again. Took to dealership and was told there was a nail in the tire that kept going flat..
