Ernie's Market

Ernie’s a great local store that everyone should support. I love stopping by as they have something for everyone. Snacks, beer, gift items and more. This truly is a one stop shop! I appreciate the monthly activities they do for their customers as well: coloring contests, giveaways and most recently photos with Santa!!! This is a local landmark that everyone should experience. Thank you Ernie’s and staff for all that you do. You are an essential part of our community!!!

My experiences here are always great. Smiling faces, helpful staff ... and very neat and clean shelves. My younger children frequent this establishment when they ride bikes and skate around, they always have fun talking to the staff because they are friendly. Thank you Ernies for your continued service and for also paving over the potholes which are NOT even your property so customers do not hurt them selves Or their vehicles. 😱Looks great keep it up!

We have lived with-in walking distance of Ernie’s for 20+ yrs. My kids have grown up walking to Ernie’s whether it be after school or a snack on way home from city pool. It has saved my butt a couple times when I’ve ran out of the main staples! Staff has always been polite and smiling. The face lift the store has gotten in the last few yrs and cleanliness, just make it that more appealing to shop at. I also love how they are giving back to the community…with contests, Santa pics and so forth. Will continue to support this great local business!!

Ernie's Market is one of the best little stores in Washington. Some of the most friendly people I've ever known. I've been going there since 1999. One of My daughters favorite memories is, her and her grandpa going there on Saturday afternoons to get pushup pops and eating them out on the ball field across the street.

And I want to give a special acknowledgement to Allison, the lady behind the counter. Such a lively wonderful woman. I know people have opinions, but she really is a most generous person. And a beautiful soul. I hope that people who haven't taken the time to see that for themselves, will get out of their own way and open their hearts...

Always clean and workers are very friendly. They have a great selection for micro brews as well as wine. I will go out of my way to stop here. It’s always nice to support a local store that cares for people who have been shunned by society and healthcare, all for making a personal health decision that doesn’t align with a political agenda.

Been a favorite store since childhood. Always a great staff and what a great stash of candy. I used to stop there every day on my paper route. Got to be friends with Frosty. Every time i go by or stop in it stirs up good memories. I also support them far more than someone who tossed my niece to the street after she gave them 25 years of service as a nurse and actually volunteered to serve in the ICU during the height of the pandemic in 2020. All because of a personal medical choice. Sorry, can't feel sorry for him.

It's funny how all the negative reviews are friends with the guy that smashed the door in with a sledgehammer. He wanted to go to jail and was cop baiting. This store is amazing. The staff is amazing and it is super clean.

Now that I know Ernies and their staff support freedom of choice I will continue to shop with them. The cashier had every right to do what she did and I'm proud someone stood up and said something.

I hadn't been into Ernie's since I was in high school. They have made it look so nice and it's clean! Great variety of snacks and drinks. You don't find great little local stores like this anymore.

Ernies is my favorite convenience store (priced more fairly than others- especially if you're looking for candy!) And I believe the owner to be a kind, courteous person. All the employees at Ernies are very nice and have smiles on their faces despite the constant steam of unpleasant people that seem to stop by.. I think the attitude adjustment that this place needs is truly in its customers.

**If you'd like to hear the "gossip" about why someone was refused service, ask them why instead of randoms on the internet and maybe some of you will rethink your hatred for a small local business.**

Excellent store! And these days I LOVE local business! Ernie's supports local causes and the staff is friendly! Go tell them Hobojonesy sent you and you'll only be charged the regular price on your purchase! Hahaha! Allison rocks!

I love Ernies and I love the fact that they have stood for freedom. This pandemic has taken a toll on many people. When I was facing tough times right before losing my job of 23 years I'd stop at Ernies on the way to work... where I'd pick up a few things and be given support no matter what I chose to do. The kind words spoken to me in that store helped me through the last two months of working in a hostile environment. I am so sorry Alison is getting so much hate over her video. She never incited violence... she said "the one person you wish** Who hasn't spoke words out of pain, anger, frustration and sadness? Alison's own husband lost his job at CH as well due to the fact that CH wouldn't accommodate their staff. When we see our friends and family hurt it is our instinct to protect them and stand up for them. How can so many send such hateful things to someone they don't know? I love Ernies and Alison.

Smells clean, looks clean. Has pretty much any snack known to man. Always trying new products. Staff is always friendly and happy to see you!
It's obvious they love working there.
It isn't what it used to be, it's sooo much better! New owners have taken great pride in deep cleaning, improving the over all appearance both inside and out. Have replaced refridgerators, added stylish shelving, replaced the soda fountain. They've invested in their customers with their improvements.

I love this place! I don't even live near the store, so I go out of my way to shop there when items are needed. I love their staff, Ms Collins is always so friendly and helpful. They know their customers and I've now become a life long customer. Keep it up

My grandparents lived close to Ernie’s and I would love to go there and stock up on everything in the penny candy aisle! I still will stop by when I am in town.
The owners and employees go out of their way to help their customers, and the community, in so many ways that go unrecognized. They don’t do it for the kudos and pats on the back like many do in our community.

I love this place.The staff knows you by names, and greets you when you walk in the door, and they are the nicest people I have came in contact with. It is clean and organized , everything has a place in that store. And the variety they have is huge, and the prices are great too,I love it there! I stop by every day just for the customer service there😀

Friendly staff, always ready with a smile. A quick spot to get amazing jams and jellies. Oh so many snacks and doughnuts that are too good to resist.
Conveniently located on my way to work at the hospital. Miller Street, just north of Cherry street.

I love going to Ernie's! Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and organized with an abundance of edible delights! Also has Diet Coke!

My grandparents live a few houses down from Ernie's and we used to go there all of the time when we were younger. I stopped by last weekend and it is exactly the same as I remember! There's a good beer selection along with everything else you can find in a convenience store.
