Academy Sports + Outdoors

I decided after work today I was going to throw my old work boots away! So I did! And then I went to Academy Sports, and like with most other things needed in life, they had exactly what I was needing! Plus a new pair of what I'm calling house shoes-
So I get home, and my shoes fit just as I knew they would, been the same size for 20 years, however the boots did not fit!
So I had to run back and exchange them.
Looked all over but they didn't have the same pull up iron ridges, so I found the lace-ups in the same style. There is only one boot in the box but a member of the staff helped me with no problem, did me a favor and cut down the display Boot and sold me the display model.(last pair)
Who would have ever thought I wore a full size smaller in boots!

Store was clean well-lit up shelves are well stopped. Each department is easily identified.
The staff was friendly and helpful. There's plenty of parking. The parking is free. I was able to quickly find what I needed. There was no weight at the checkout. I was in and out of the store unless ten minute. The way shopping ought to be.

Typically always find what I need. Today they were really busy but the manager on shift, Hunter I believe, was here there and everywhere seemingly making a lack of workers not as evident! Definitely would give that guy a raise if it were up to me! Will return to said location!

Bought to outdoor folding chairs, and one ended up being defective. Returned it for exchange 2 weeks later when I got time ⏲. Great 👍 customer service and a great heavy duty comfortable outdoor chair 💺 to conveniently use indoors or outdoors, sturdy chair at a great price!

Academy Sports is my all time favorite sports store. I mean they have everything from A to Z in anything sports. They also have the best name brands. Do you want to know the best thing about Academy? It's that they have great prices and there always having sales.

I was shopping for our Christmas family and the manager helped me find shoes for all the kids and gave me an additional discount on top the sale price. Very kind, man !!

I love Academy. I'm sure the store is great. We decided not to shop after leaving the gym and realizing they had slapped a tow sticker on our truck.

If you are in a truck/bobtail, DO NOT STOP HERE. There arent any "no truck signs posted," We are in a bobtail. We left a note in the window stating to please call if we needed to move as we were in the gym and planned on eating and shopping. They slapped a big yellow sticker in the middle of the drivers side window to be towed.

You never know what you will find here but there's always a good selection. The associates are friendly and helpful. It's well lit and clean. You can also get your hunting & fishing licenses here while you're grabbing gear. The prices are usually really good too.

We had Lee help us today he was just such a amazing guy talked us through the process and was extremely nice to our kids and helped keep them calm overall I wouldn’t want anyone else to sell us a firearm hands down the best salesman
