Vance's General Store, Bait and Tackle LLC

One day while going to the water I decided to stop by Vance's General Store and see what they had. I was very impressed with the quality and selection of merchandise. Typically, I target a variety of fish, and they had everything I needed. During the stop I found a good selection of superb quality musky lures, spinner baits, soft plastics, and crank baits, they had them all. Additionally, Brandon and Jeff and very friendly and willing to help! Thanks for the great experience Vance's!

Great Tackle and Bait Shop. Lots of variety you don’t normally see in box stores. Fair prices and great customer service. The owner really takes care of the place and resupplies tackle often so there’s always new stuff to put in your bag. Highly recommend this place if you’re an experienced fisher or just a beginner. I will definitely be back here a lot.

My husband and I were in Fairplain WV today and decided to stop in. We had never been here before and my husband is always looks for new fishing gear. The owner was very nice and very helpful. We loved that this place carried a lot of WV made tackle. The owner made sure we able to find everything we were looking for. If you have not visited this place you are missing out!

Great bait and tackle store. Lots of unique baits and the owner is as very helpful! If you are in the area or going thru you must stop in. My wife and I will go back next time we are headed through Ripley!

This place is awesome!!! You need anything for your fishing needs, this is the place. Mr. Vance is incredibly informational on anything you need for catching you some good fish. Highly recommend checking this place out.

Stopped in from out of town looking for bait and this gentleman was so amazing! He took the time to share the best spots, look out for my mom( who's a little on the older side), and even threw in free gear. Bought some great hooks from a local craftsman that bagged us 3 small bass among some other fish at Rollins Lake. We also would have missed that great spot had it not been for him and his fishing buddy there ...so a HUGE THANK YOU to the guys at VANCES and 2 thumbs up to those thinking about visiting this bait shop!!!!!

Stopped in today to check this place out. I was so impressed with the selection of items to choose from and Brandon was very attentive to our every need and made sure we got what we needed. Highly recommend. They also have a cool selection of non fishing items such as wax melts that smell amazing, toys for kids, shirts, hats and much more!
