The restaurant behind the shop closes at 7pm, not 9pm.. we didn’t know and showed up at 8 and it was closed. Went the next day for breakfast and absolutely LOVED it. Great place for real Mexican food, and for loading up on carbs for climbing at Hueco.

Nice place for authentic mexican food. They also have a small meat market and bakery. To my surprise, they also have a small section of Mexican medicine.

Mexican soul food of the highest order. Just happened by on a three week motorcycle trip and it was awesome - best meal of the whole trip. It was packed and loud on a Sunday morning and there was a line of people waiting to fill their large pots with take-out. I liked the communal dining - felt inclusive even though my Spanish is very limited.

This place is a real hidden gem!! If you have an appetite for a traditional El Paso Mexican meal, you've come to the right spot. Come by for bottled water but walk into almost a food oasis in the desert!! All of your favorites from produce, dairy, and butcher to a made-fresh-daily bakery, in-house dining of a variety of entrees, burritos, carnitas! Don't forget a pan dulce for the road and maybe even support Texas veterans by playing the lotto!! The family who owns this place is so kind and friendly. Always willing to help out however they can. I love this place and am SO HAPPY it's not too far from home!!

Best of the best....to get flour and corn tortillas. Best burritos! Carnitas and chicharron are amazing! And let's not forget...Pan Dulce!!! If I had the option, i most definitely give it a 10 Star!!! Love this place. (MENUDO IS TO DIE FOR)

So I wanted to give it a 4 because sometimes the lady that takes the order is forgetful ,she should write orders down lol but I've had nothing but great experiences when it comes to the food ... so yea its far east but worth the drive I love how clean their menudo is and the prices are fair compared to everywhere else unchanging to the max ..

Always stop here before heading to my cousins ranch. They got great carnitas and chicharones and the fresh tortillas are delicious. The staff is super friendly!
