Right by the highway exit on nw10st, across from the fairgrounds next to a Dollar General. Great basic fresh produce, I get my cucumbers on here. Marked down prices, check exp dates, cash checks, tobacco, Mexican herbs and products, discount meats, taco truck in the parking lot. You bag your own groceries on a busy day, the cashier unloads your groceries out of your basket onto the belt for you to bag. No self checkout here.

This place is awesome. The deep discounts on sale items and produce help me save significant money off my grocery bill and I've been shopping here for years. That being said, if you're looking for a fancy store, corporate-style service and for people to kiss your butt and call you suzie, go shop at Whole Foods. Yes, it's small and crowded. Yes, you should avoid using the restroom. Yes, you have to bag your own groceries, and yes, there is no self-service. Yes you have to get your own cart. You will also save serious money. If that's a problem for you, there are other places for you to shop and it'll make this place less crowded. The poor reviews on here from disappointed Karens are hilarious. 5 stars and a local institution for a reason.

I think whittakers is one of the best grocery stores in Oklahoma City that you can go to and shop their prices are reasonable and they're not comparing yourself to other stores and I really appreciate that

Always quick friendly service and smiles from the workers. Great selection of items, not ONLY just food. Carries most your essentials plus you can cash your checks and the check cashing folk are really nice and fast and efficient well!! Prices will blow your mind. Thank you Mr.Dennis!!!

Very curtious staff, yes store is seasoned and location could be better!, but overall cheap prices, selection is small but covers most bases on not starving to death! The low reviews sorry about your experience. Unlike most people a review should be on service,price and selection! Join most of the world like sheep and pay more while getting ridiculous food and the whole time thinking you are somebody your not! When the truth is your an idiot!

This place is a lifesaver. You can get cheap meat, and there are a lot of deals too. The price for food is going up, but this place takes the edge off.

I do 99% of my grocery shopping at Target and Sprouts. I had a strong craving for pickles at 8:30 at night and googled "grocery stores near me" out of curiosity. I was slightly sketched out of Whitaker's but went in and got my dang pickles. I'm giving 5 stars because the workers were extremely kind and exceptional (better service there than any higher end grocery store I've been to) and I noticed the price points on other items were extremely cheap. I'm not gonna question HOW they can sell stuff so cheap, because I'll probably never be back to the place, just thought it was worth writing a review over! Maybe don't wear expensive jewelry to this store either lol

Open all the time friendly staff and offer variety of groceries at very low pricing.

Whittaker's or "Witty's" as I've heard is an older grocery store, but they have just about everything. They are open 24 hours, the owners are super chill, and there is a taco truck outside if you get hungry during the day. It can look questionable, but super convenient and not to mention the produce is beautiful!

Once you pay 25$ for 4 bags of food you will soon forget about the decor. Buy & cook what they have on sale is a guaranteed why to cut your grocery bill by more than half.

I love that they have fresh meat and reasonable prices.

This is a family owned store reminiscent of a grocery store from the 50s. Prices are good, so meat and produce is fresh.

Last of the true independent grocers in town. Freshest and cheapest fresh meat anywhere. Owners in store everyday! No chain store "gimmicks", just low prices everyday.

BEST Store for your money, especially if you are
on a budget. They may not have as big of a selection as some of the larger stores but I can guarantee you, what they do have is a fraction of what you would pay somewhere else!!

First time shopping here. I loved the variety of deals and cheap! 2 watermelons for 6 bucks can't beat that.
