This location has really friendly employees compared to the other ones I've been to. It feels like a family owned grocery store. Troy the associate store manager was quite pleasant and helpful, giving me professional advice on how I can possibly get ahold of a limited edition product. Also patiently gone over recommendations. Excellent customer service!!

Small neighborhood store where you can get all the essentials. While there may not be the same selection as larger stores, inventory is consistently good and prices are on par with others in the area. Plenty of parking with handicap spaces near the entrances. Public restroom available. Employees consistently friendly and helpful.

Today was a total zoo with an impending blizzard in addition to the upcoming Christmas holiday. Lines at the Rolling Meadows Jewel stretched the length of the store. Lines at Mariano's in Palatine went to the back of the store. I tried the downtown Arlington Heights Jewel as my last attempt and was able to walk directly to a self-checkout when I was done shopping. All checkout lanes were open and they were doing a fantastic job dealing with the mad rush of people - far better and faster that the other stores that I visited and abandoned because I didn't want to stand in line for 30 minutes.

Great little local feeling market. They have everything you need!

I love this store, it's so great having it in the neighborhood. It's a regular Jewel... Just smaller. So the prices are the same as any other Jewel and they have the same sales. It's so much easier to go in and out of than a regular Jewel. They have pretty much everything I need... Just sometimes not every variety of things. That's to be expected with a store half the size of a standard store. It's like going to Walgreens as opposed to going to a behemoth like Walmart... Except not the higher prices of a Walgreens. Highly recommend.

This is extremely convenient Jewel location if you're looking for a quick trip to the store while you're in the area. The manager, Nick was extremely accommodating when I brought a large group into the store for a project with my business. You get that small town feeling when you walk in and meet the staff. Thank you!

Great grocery store with a good selection! They may not have every variety but they have the normal items and is great being so close to downtown AH apartments. We can easily walk from Hancock Square Apts which makes grocery shopping a breeze.

Not very big, but very cozy store, where you can always find everything you need.

Love popping into this Jewel on my way home from the office! Always well stocked, fresh bread, roasted chicken ready to go! And the cashiers get you checked out quickly!

I stopped in to purchase some flowers for a special occasion (3 birthdays) and was greeted by an extremely friendly young lady named Yajaira. She could see I was in over my head, offered her assistance and (although she indicated she was not trained in this yet) proceeded to create 3 beautiful arrangements for me. What an awesome example of going above and beyond! Huge kudos to Yajaira and whomever hired her – she’s a shining star!

I always love the fresh produce at this location. There is a large selection that is always very fresh. While it can seem a bit busy due to its size (quite small), the line always moves quickly and it's not overly packed so I'm not running into stuff.

If you need a big store, this isn't the place. Personally I don''t need to see 21 flavors of Coca Cola at my local grocers or huge volumes of common items on the shelves. I visit big chain stores (Jewel and Marianos) at least once per week while commuting, but I continue to appreciate this store more and more. This smaller Jewel-Osco has given us 96% of what we need on a regular basis. We enjoy a lot of world cuisines and it turns out even the big stores don't stock ingredients we need. So we often pop into smaller various ethic stores too. It's easier to get around this Jewel. Checkouts are faster on average. It has more dependable fresh produce than the big chains I've been to. The Osco pharmacy has had some outstanding pharmacists over the years. Sales are frequent and with deeper discounts than Marianos and a regular shopper can save a bundle by purchasing sale items as opportunity arises. This store also has a neighborly quality about it that the Grocerillas lack and a few employees and customers actually get to know each other pretty well. We've been shopping here for 20 years.

Everyone who works at this jewel is so nice. I was thanked not once, but by three different workers for shopping! Everything was clean and well stocked.

It's a good place to visit because you can get so many things from so many varieties. I have ordered many times here. They also give you a mask when you don't have one.

The vale Street jewels is so outstanding is there help me in my shopping they show me where everything is they're very informative of what I need to know about items on the shelves that's why I give them a four-star do Vale Street jewels

Liz was very patient with me when my My Mixx coupon didn't come off for an item and Mark the manager took it off for me. Wow, exceptional customer service!!!!

It's a smaller Jewel, but I found everything I needed. Nice helpful customer service. I will definitely be back.
