Hi..my name is sue..I just wanted to let yuu know that I really enjoy dealing with my customers Monday thru Friday 5am to 9am at Johnsburg bp..my customers are all so friendly and honesty..we have lived in this small town for 44yrs..I look forward to serving yuu everyday with a big smile and maybe a joke or two..feel free to share a new joke..let's spread some joy with others!

Matt was excellent and eager to help! I lost my charger, left my purse at the local grocery store, and was running late. Matt let me charge my phone, and let me make a phone call! Thanks so much Matt for helping me out! Excellent customer service!

It's ALWAYS nice to visit EVERYTIME I come back home. Strange as it may sound, BP is a home to me. Dependable.

There is a female clerk at this location 3615 N Chapel Hill rd, McHenry, middle aged and anyone who has stopped here has had an altercation with this employee. I've heard two others on other stops be verbally assaulted by this woman and today she has done so to me for the second time as well. Unprompted, she insults people by HOW they talk, their "SLANG" and cussing. BP should be ashamed for letting this woman continue employment there. I refuse to ever go back until they correct this and remove this negative employee that clearly does NOT want to be at any sort of job to help any sort of customer and only starts fights and insults customers.

The male employees are nice. One female, maybe 50 years old or so, is absolutely the rudest cashier/ attendant I've ever come across. Day after day. Every time I go there, she creates an uncomfortable situation with myself or another customer. She is very condescending and thinks she knows everything. I couldn't read her nametag, I think she hides it on purpose. I usually try to go to any other gas station just to avoid her, but the place is on my way home, so sometimes I have to stop there. When I walk in and see her, I know she's going to have an attitude. 0/10. Replace her please!

I visited the Johnsburg ILLINOIS location on January 8th at 10 am . I stopped in to get gas and a couple other things on my way to make arrangements for my mothers funeral. I was going to stop at a local grocery store for milk but instead decided to just grab some there . What a mistake . I grabbed a few things saw the milk was not priced and since sometimes there are crazy prices on stuff like that I asked the cashier . Well I bothered her while stuffing her face with a donut . I her if she knew the price on the milk and she replied yea . Your eyes broken price is on the floor since everyone knocks it off when they grab it . Said sorry did not see and I looked all over . She then asked if I knew the price of a snickers across the street? Said nope she said her either because she did not care. Don’t know how that was relevant. Told her it was a simple question and sorry to bother her during breakfast and gambling and that the attitude was not necessary. She said it was necessary because of laziness on my part and to take a number . After spending over a hundred dollars on gas and such inside the store was definitely not expecting that . I am a local and don’t like to cost it the big chain gas stations like Thortons Murphys etc but this was absolutely uncalled for . If I ran out of gas in front of that place I would push my Hummer to the next gas station and will never return.

Staff is OK. Never really had an issue with them. However, terrible idea to advertise that they have a car wash and the car wash isn't even on the property. They advertise "fill up here, car wash over there."
Over there is approximately 5 miles away on the other side of town. This is very inconvenient for people who aren't even from the area and that are just passing by. On this particular morning, I observed an older gentleman just get flustered that he had spent $4.00 on a car wash and they weren't even going to give him his money back and insisted he drive all the way to the other station. Finally, they gave him his money back.
Also, one cashier and eight people in line. Two of the employees are inside the office behind the cash register chatting away while there is no coffee and people just walking all over the place trying to find it.

When people want to gamble they don’t need a Rude cashier to scream out “I need your IDs before you go in there” so that every customer looks at you. I get you need to make sure people are of age but you do not need to yell it across the room and use a rude tone. Not to mention I clearly appear old enough! There are plenty of places to go.

Still advertising for a car wash that is halfway across town

The front women who checked me out was horribly rude, after sitting there for 2 minutes waiting to be checked out while she was talking bad about another worker, she finally checked me out. I asked if I can get cash back after sliding my card she laughed and said no! I turned around she goes " you have to fkin sign this
" I signed it slammed the pen down and she goes "don't throw things at me you little bi***" I go wow im going to be calling on you she says " I don't give a sh**" I never in my life have ever dealt with someone this rude. I come here every week for gas and coffee, I will no longer be coming here.
