I just bought two cars on the same day from this dealership. My experience with Gurnee VW dealership was phenomenal today. Cameron took care of us. He is extremely professional and understanding. He’s not pushy at all and he will do whatever he can to make your car shopping experience a very pleasant one. We are very happy with him and this dealership and we highly recommend them. I will not go to any other dealership from now on. Thank you guys.

I just had a great experience leasing a new Tiguan. Cameron was excellent to work with, and I ended up getting a deal I didn't think was possible after talking to other dealerships in the area. I had no prior relationship or experience with this particular store, but I was pleasantly surprised while driving home with my new vehicle.

It was honestly the greatest and easiest car buying experience I have had in my life. No body felt like they were trying to just sell you something, everybody made you feel like they are in this with you and they are willing to work and do what they had to do to get the sale done. It was truly an amazing experience! I’d recommend anyone going here to buy a car!!!! Amazing job again, thank you!!

Jose did a great job helping us out and answered all of our questions about our new vehicle. We were about to drive away with a 2024 VW Taos and my father in law took a 2023 VW Taos. It was a great experience.

Cameron helped me get a good deal on my Tesla Model S. His communication leading up to the purchase was immediate and he answered all questions I had. He also helped me get everything I needed in regards to financing the vehicle. I would definitely recommend working with him!

The sales team was courteous and respectful. They made extra efforts to find a deal that would work. My wife and I have been shopping for over a year across multiple brands. This team was willing to work with us and did so professionally. The finance process was digital and easy. We both felt it was one of the better vehicle purchase experiences we have ever had. The only change I would recommend is to have someone in service show us how to use the car. With all of the tech, it was quite the dive into the manual for several hours to understand the capabilities of the car.

At first we came in to only view and test-drive the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk at Gurnee Volkswagen. After the test-drive though we quickly fell in love with the car. With very competitive prices and great hospitality, I highly recommend checking out this dealership for all your car shopping needs. Keke was great to work with and made the process of buying a car so seamless. She was very knowledgeable and I never felt pushed. Traveled all the way from MA to buy a pre-owned car. Searched nation wide, they had the best value. Some issues came up but they worked to solve them. Hooked me up with an accessory I wanted to make up for the time I lost and a loaner car so I could go grab lunch while they worked it out. That type of service means a lot to me. Thanks to Russel, & Camron for making that happen. Jose sent me videos, FaceTimed & came in on his day off to help me get it done.

Today I had to trade in my 2020 Passat due to it needing a big maintenance service. However, I was able to get into a brand new 2024 Jetta Sport. 3/8/24 - I needed to update this review because once again, I received excellent service from the service department, particularly, Precious. She stayed in touch every step of the way, making everything as convenient as possible for me. She even called a Lyft to pick me up when my car was ready. Just wonderful experience each and every time. Well done!

Each time I bring my 2009 Tiguan here, I’m overwhelmed by the service I receive. The first time I pulled up because the gas cover wouldn’t open and a tech showed me a “hack” fix it. No charge.

So when a mysterious system message kept popping up, I brought it it again. They were so nice, drove me home and picked me up when the car was ready. I received texts and a chance to approve or defer fixing the issues they found through diagnostics. I was even able to sign-off and pay online ti say time at the shop.

This last time, my key wouldn’t turn in the ignition. Yikes. A tech was right there to listen to my description of the problem and they took the car back right away. Again, I received texts every step of the way, they drove me home and picked me up, and the tech explained everything to me in a way that wasn’t full if mansplaining or condescension.

No more taking chances with outsiders. I’ll bring my car here for all my service work done from now on.

I returned here after 2 years. Wow, what a difference! Customer Service has totally changed and I couldn’t be happier! Service Advisor Precious Jordan did an excellent job greeting me, keeping me updated throughout the service and didn’t do any high-pressure selling; just professionally presented me with the mechanic’s recommendations. I will be back! Thank you and great job!!

The experience of shopping for a new car, negotiating for a fair price/deal, and the overall experience is always very nerve racking to me. I have bought, leased, and traded cars many times in my life as I am 66 years old. I have to say working with Sandi Negrau at Gurnee Volkswagon was simple and pleasant. He made the overall process of getting my new 2023 Tiguan a nice experience. He explained things well, was not pushy, allowed me to ask many questions and was basically a professional that was very accommodating. I wished sales people I have worked with in the past had taken lessons from him. In addition, the financing personnel were nice as well and ensured that I understood everything. Again, no pushiness or rudeness, and I felt like they all were giving me their time & attention. Thanks to all of you and quite simply do not change your ways. I believe more people going through this process appreciate this way of "selling cars" versus that unfortunately many of us have experienced in the past at other dealerships.

For my first time buying a car, this was honestly the best experience I could have dreamed of. The staff was super supportive and communicative from setting up a test drive to ultimately purchasing my first car.
