Lake County Fairgrounds

I have ever been to the old fairgrounds, but I hear and can imagine this is much better.

I have been here for the county fair and the antique market and the large open and cool space inside is really nice. I feel like this space is underutilized more of the time. Either that or I need to get more in tune with what is going on there!

It is a great venue for both of the things I go to and I can imagine much more. Nice clean and inviting. We are lucky to have it in our county.

Sadly 2022 only marks the 4th time coming to the fair since the relocation from US 45 & IL 120. I guess in most years if I don't take my family it's because I'm working heavy OT and on those wknds.

Lots of attractions, rides, farm animals to pet and food options that are expensive but hey, the fair only comes once a year so I gotta have me a funnel cake w/ strawberries and powdered sugar along with a tall lemonade.

Only made it to the fair at the old location the first time being the summer of '89 and maybe 4 other times before the relocation. With a wife and 2 young kids now, gonna try my best to make it out here every summer.

We had a lot of fun but the heat after a while took its toll. Entry prices seemed reasonable and my kids having a blast always warms my heart.

Beautiful exhibit hall, very spacious. The dinosaur/dragon exhibit was very cool! Lots of space for different shows

Visited Santa's Rock N Lights! Such an awesome drive thru show. Plus it was Jeep night and all of the Jeeps received a duck. Then they are also doing other special nights. Check out their Facebook page for all of their promotions!

It was great! Fairly priced and an awesome show. I will make this an annual event with the grand kids. The lights, the music. Very well done, Y a'all!

The lake county fairgrounds have been called on to fight covid-19 as a mass testing facility run by the lake county health department. Most of the staff on hand are dedicated volunteers who should get our thanks and applause! From the time I drove in line to the time I drove out was less than an hour! Thanks to all these dedicated volunteers!

2023 Lake County Fair was a 5/5 this year. Great food, great atmosphere, good times. Till next year 🇺🇸

Very nice Christmas craft show. Lots of beautiful things to buy. I will definitely go again.

Great place to visit with family and friends. Demolition derby always exciting. Crafts, photos, baked goods, vegetables in an air conditioned building. Lots of farm animals. Rides and fair food. Great fun!

The santa lil rock was awesome the kids loved it but I really wish they could change the xmas decorations lights every year but the photos I have here these are new.

Micro fair this year was nice. It was about half the size of a full running event. But they included every aspect of what they would usually have.

Great time. Clean. Lots to do but feel there could have been more vendors for the trade show part. Expensive for rides and everything with the fair.

We have been at this Fairgrounds for many years for the Windy City Cluster - dog show- and we like this venue a lot.

Just went for my 2nd Covid-19 Vaccine.
Very well organized and staff was super nice and helpful. All I had to do was drive in and answer a few questions...get the shot and off I went.

Great flea market like to go, this weekend is gona be great weather. So come to grayslake flea this weekend.

I went to the craft fair here. It was a big venue with over 250 vendors. The aisles were wide, the venue was very clean, the people were polite and friendly. There was a food area too, but I didn't go to it. I would definitely go back to shop at another craft show. I also liked that everything was homemade. It was refreshing to see new things that were homemade and not Mary Kay or Tupperware.

We Enjoyed the holiday lights synced with lovely Christmas songs.

Great place for the quarterly Antique Flea Market.

Annual trip to the fair, A+ family experience..head on out there. They pretty much have something for everyone in your family. Very reasonable pricing.
