Love kickback gaming. Great selection of classics, my fiance and I always end up finding what we are looking for and more. Friendly staff. The t-shirts and merch are pretty cool as well, very nice material.

Kickback troubleshooted my console issues right in store. Offered me an options for repair or replacement. Received a great price on replacement of a Nintendo 64 console. Owners work the front counter so you get expertise and service as soon as you walk into the store. Would recommend for any and all gaming needs.

Been in this business multiple times and I must say Kick Back Gaming is every gamer's dream spot. Every single classic systems/games to the newest with everything also being reasonably priced. All employees and the owner are HIGHLY knowledgeable with anything you need help with. Would definitely give this place higher than 5 stars if possible.

This is what we in the gaming community call a “hidden gem.” This is my local and for good reason. I’ve never seen a store with a place to fix your various electronics, a place to buy a plethora of video games, from switch games, PS5, Xbox 360 to Sega Saturn/Dreamcast, and a place to build community/play tournaments. The prices here are also terribly reasonable. On top of that they have MULTIPLE comfy game set ups for any casual or hardcore gamer to literally “kickback” and play. Look, YOU ARE DOING YOURSELF A DISSERVICE BY NOT CHECKING THIS PLACE OUT IF YOU’RE a gamer. Better than Disneyland. What a home run, no more like a Grand Slam.

The guys there were great and honest about the games we brought in to sell! Very nice store and much more organized than a competitor across town.

I've been using them since it was the owner in his families basement, and wow its awesome seeing this business grow! I pretty much only buy/sell from these guys now, and they are some of the nicest and most inclusive staff members of any store I've been too. the prices are great, the layout only gets better every time I go in there, and it seems like the employees genuinely enjoy their jobs. I look forward to being a customer for a long time!

I purchased an old console. It had an issue. They fixed the issue quickly and offered extra assistance if needed for the future.

Genuinely my favorite place in Lincoln to find retro games and accessories. Kind and honest staff and owners, a CLEAN establishment (apparently a big ask around here for game stores 🤣😭), and a comfy space in a great location. So happy to be able to Kick Back!

I have been to Kick Back Gaming half a dozen times. It’s now the only place I will go in Lincoln. It’s very clean, well organized. and stocked! The staff and owner are knowledgeable, friendly people who know the market and are not there to churn revenue. They know they are selling joy, and they are fair and equitable with prices. Really happy to have them around.

Was looking for an original Gameboy, and I was happy to find one locally here. I was impressed by the selections of games available, too! Gameboys weren't my thing, so I wasn't sure which games to get as this was a gift. I was very nicely helped with suggestions of what to get and reasonably priced. There was such a broad assortment of games for other old systems, so I look forward to coming back. Nothing better than finding new, old things!

We're so glad we gave it a shot, super nice owner. Great selection, awesome that he gave my kiddos some toys to life characters for free, and rather see them getting used than sitting around collecting dust! Kids loved it, thanks! The prices are unreal! Games I find elsewhere for like $40 I can get for way cheaper! Plus the vibe is so relaxed and inviting, and the owner is so nice to his guests! So glad he's around!
