Wical Limited Partnership

When we bought our first home in the Glover Park neighborhood of Washington, a main attraction was the nearby Whole Foods. Apparently Wical is holding the planned-redevelopment of the store hostage while it tries to get more money in rent. As I'm sure you all know - in a household with two working parents, convenience is everything, and not being able to easily pick up groceries/dinner after work has adversely impacted my family's life; and also likely the sale price of my home in the future. :(

Whole Foods’ landlord in Glover Park whose actions resulted in the grocery store being closed for years with no lease agreement/re-opening in sight. Left whole neighborhood impacted by the Whole Foods closure and with an eyesore empty building. Too bad cannot rate with minus stars in the reviews.

The underhanded tactics employed by this landlord are disturbing and have no place in our community. If you cannot broker a good faith arrangement with an anchor tenant like WF, then move on. Sell the property to a party willing to let commerce support the neighborhood, you parasitic asshats.
