Texas Thrift Store: Garland

I was in the area for an errand and stopped here in the mean time.
I was only able to purchase a few items but really wanted to stay and browse more.

I live a good way from here but I will make some time to come and spend a good amount of time and money here soon!

This place has improved over the years. I miss the fitting rooms but it’s fine they were always backed up and had a line waiting.

I have been coming to this place for over 10 years. I always find a treasure. Though I feel like the color tag for the day is never in the floor and tend to never buy the tags of the day.

This store is usually my first stop when I am trying to find something.
Clothing is really good quality for being used.

The cashier and the front end supervisor (Ana) was absolutely so amazing, she was kind and very helpful in not only helping me find a great father's day gift but as well as helping me find some great clothes. Wonderful person and great personality. 👍

Clean & organized as farcas thrify stores go but not the cheapest... definitely look for the sales!

I don't usually buy my kids clothes second hand but I love thrifting! When I get to this thrift store, it was so organized that I decided to take a peak at the kids clothes. I think I bought my 6 year old an entire wardrobe from here for like $120 which is amazing! It was all Old Navy dresses for winter time that are usually about $40 new and I got each one for close to $6 plus they were discounted the day I was there! I got both of my girls rain coats since we are going into spring for like $3 each! Tons of pants and t shirts etc.. I was so excited about what I spent there vs what I usually spend elsewhere that I saved this store as a favorite in my GPS. I plan on going back for some summer clothes for them!!

I get bored of thrifts but this one I enjoy because it’s big, new fun finds often, 55+ discount 30% on Tuesdays yay. It’s clean, friendly, I never come out empty handed. Oh, not overpriced like so many others!

Love the Easter egg hunting on Mondays for .99 cent tags and half or tags. Hate the holiday Monday 50% targets off. The elder Male whom O enjoy speaking Espanol with is always smile and collecting items from the vehicles at dro off. For years I've known him. I'm just so terrible with names. He is wonderful and deserves a 5 dollar raise. I will be glad to pick him out next time I come to the store. We moved far away. I don't get to come often as I would like. The older lady retired. I really like this place. It's a hit or miss type of place depending on what you're looking for. But usually when that hit finally comes you get great stuff! The staff is really friendly. I would recommend going on a weekday in the afternoon if you're off. It can get crowded. Sometimes there can be a lot of kids running around but staff tries there best to make announcements about it.

Man I should have come with more money! I've never been to Texas Thrift but I could literally spend all day in this place!!!! Good thing my homegirl Ramsey was willing to spot me some extra bags and I did have to give up my cigarette money for it but it was worth it

I absolutely LOVE Texas thrift. I go there all the time with my best friend and we renew our closets for only $100 which would be over $500 in a normal store! Very organized, the workers are great and they remember faces, and sometimes names. When I wear the clothes I find there my friends ask me where I got them and when I tell them, "The Thrift store" they never believe me! The looks on their faces are priceless!! Now me, I would call myself a professional bargain hunter. I know what I want/am looking for when I shop there & I've been there enough to know how their service works and where they put the best stuff. They always let the workers pick the radio stations that play up front, which I think is cool. I would highly advise shopping there, especially when you want a majority of your closet remodeled! They also have great choices when Halloween comes around, putting the costumes up front for all to see. I even shop there when I want a home-made costume, which is every year. (; The things you can find there are crazy awesome and weird at the same time! The clothes are very clean, however they do not get ALL the stains out. They do well on getting a lot out, but for the rest of the stain...That's the buyer's job. And they have more than just clothes; shoes, kid's toys, bikes, bed frames, household decor, microwaves... a lot of microwaves, a lot of different items I have found and reconstructed to be something awesome!! I always come up with cool things that aren't too cheap, and if you find a fabric or something you really love, but it's a giant granny muumuu that seems it could fit an elephant!! Just get out that old sewing machine, find an awesome pattern and turn it into something new!! Um, I hope this helped you. Goin' shopping tomorrow for some new clothes! Like, really... I actually am. Expect jeans, slacks, coats, sweaters, sport, and dress shirts by Polo, Nautica, Dockers, Izod, Gap, and Nordstrum (occasionally new, with tags), for as low as $5. Daily discounts based on tag color translate to 50% off and reduced to 99¢. The paid bilingual staff is professional and helpful. Odds are you'll leave happy, and make plans to return - as I've been doing for 5 years.

Texas Thrift is the best ever! Sometimes the employees offer to help without even being asked. The store is always very clean and organized. The selection and prices are wonderful and the weekly coupons make things even better!

Decent prices and always have one color tag for 50% off and one for 30%. They also offer a Senior discount day and usually have 50% off everything on holidays that they are open. Had a good variety to choose from.

OMG!!! We've relocated and didn't think we would be able to find another thrift store like our Savers. But, happening upon Texas Thrift I can say I'm sold! Can't wait to bring my daughter.. (spent 2 hrs )

Well organized with a great selection. The staff here are very sweet and always have a kind word to say to my little son. Highly recommend this place.

My absolute favorite thrift store in all of DFW. Even though I live on the other side of DFW it is always a treat to shop here. I always find gems here. Found a halloween gown for $3 which was custom maid ballerina/sngel costume which was great quality and a like new authentic Coach handbag for $9.95.

By far, one of the best thrift stores in the area. It's very organized, and I often find great men's clothes there. They frequently have 50% off days.
