this is the most beautiful and clean outdoors store i have ever been in. the floor plan was beautiful and the selection of products was exactly what i was looking for! the staff was super helpful and friendly. there is even a restaurant inside. i attatched some pictures below, i am shocked this place was not more busy! i will be stopping here everytime i am through mio.

Great assortment of high quality sporting goods.
Fishing, hunting, camping, floating they have it all. Super friendly helpful staff. Then there's the restaurant. Delicious wraps, tacos made to order with in house smoked meats. Even the Gouda in the mac & cheese is smoked in house.

AuSable River Outfitters is such a great resource to have in the area. I find myself here frequently picking up gear, or just stopping in for some great food from the Rusty Pine after a good hike on one of the local trails. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. This store, and their fantastic BBQ is not to be missed if you are a local or just visiting.

Probably the best stocked outdoors store in the state. Was able to walk in and find the exact style of shoe I was looking for that a high profile store in Gaylord didn't have. Would go out of my way to buy something here again.

This place is really something special. There are guns, ebikes, fishing and hunting gear,....everything including food. I love this place.

Just wanted to share how satisfied I am with ARO. Came in to have my crossbow restrung and they had the string in stock and did it while I wanted. While I waited I browsed around at their great selection and was pleased with what they had and the friendly staff

I stopped in there while staying at a cabin, couldn't believe how friendly and helpful the staff is. Great selection of products for any outdoor lifestyle. Oh and a bakery! I thought that was super weird when I saw it but I like it, I'm totally on board with it.

We love the AuSable River Outfitters! A great addition to Mio, this place has all the sports, hunting and recreational items for sale, as well as a made-from-scratch kitchen for pastries and savory treats. We went outside to sit in their pavilion, to snack on our goodies, looks like it’ll be a neat heated area in the winter, to drink coffee or hot cocoa. I can’t wait to come back and try their new coffee brand! Also, for all you hunters, check out how they decorated their duct work (see pic)

This place is amazing if you do anything outdoors they have it. The friendliest most willing to help staff. We stop every time we are in Mio my boys love the cookies that are literally the size of their face. Can't wait to go back.

They are about to open a new 22k sq ft building....they have THE BEST kayak selection around! Purchased 2 and I will refer everyone i know there!!!

We were in there today looking at Kayaks to replace one we purchased, but not a stable as we hoped for. Even though we couldn't purchase today because we had no room to get it home she gave us several good ideas and we came down to one model. If you are in the Mio area and want awesome customer service you need to come here.

This is a local shop for me and I find it very useful in making my outdoor activities possible. Prices are fair, quality is high, and staff is super friendly and helpful. They will be as hands on in my purchases as I wish.

Some of the best smokehouse food you’ll ever have. Sauces are addictive. I’ve been dreaming bout the beans … their beans are amazing! And those cookies deserve some sort of award; I highly recommend the salted caramel.

We always enjoy stopping here. The staff is very friendly and the store is very welcoming. We never leave empty handed. See you next time!

Absolutely a great sporting goods store that also offers food. They stock everything that bass pro does, and more. The owner and staff are very welcoming and helpful. They actually gave my friend and I a tour of the whole store. We were there over Thanksgiving weekend and weren't serving food, but they showed us there dining room which has huge doors they open up in nice weather. I will be stopping in any time I'm in Mio. A wonderful place. It easy to spend a couple of hours shopping here, there is soooo much to see.
