Market Basket

The vegetables are always fresh, I love going there with my family last week, I got a cake from the bakery that was beautiful, great customer service, Aleah the cashier was very nice!

Market basket in Rochester ( Farmington road) is where I usually go. They were voted #1 market basket

( by customers). Store is clean, staff is friendly, prices are good. Anyone who's had their sandwiches and wraps can tell you the quality is great and price is very reasonable. ( I haven't tried one yet, but asked customers about the cheese steak subs, they rave about them. I'm fond of their chicken salad) They do have a catering menu, my friend had her casual wedding catered by market basket there was plenty of food and people kept asking who the caterer was. (Menu's are where you order food) Great store. Great staff.

Amazing as always. Idk about you but I feel like market basket employees are family...you run in to the familiar faces smiling at you & it's a comfort you cannot explain. Thank you for all the years of kindness

Market Basket grocery stores are the best. Well stocked, clean and the employees are very helpful and polite.

Employees were very sweet. I forgot my cards at home, and they put my stuff to the side and rang me back up very nicely.

They have the best penguin cookies.

I always love shopping market basket. It's easy to see why, the place is staffed with helpful and friendly people who are always giving their best effort in every respect, as well as the wonderful selection of Fresh Donuts, Fritters, Cookies, ect. at UNBEATABLE prices! Great prices on all kinds of things, I can often make about 35 to 50 meals out of 200$! Just smart use of the freezer, and a constant use of the kitchen is all it takes lol. Even today shopping in the night leading up to the awful huricane, they were not only stocked, but WELL stocked!! Add on top of that, that you can NOT beat the PREMIUM QUALITY of the Market Basket brand, How can you beat it? Seriously not to harp on it, and those who know - know the donuts here put even legendary shops like Condones to shame in my opinion, Do boy Is a close second but couple that with the simple fact that you are shopping without having to pay the Maine state tax, as a shapleigh resident there is not much else I can say, all and all the best overall place to shop, lowest prices, best service. The full package!

Market basket has everything you could need at the right price. All your deli meats and fish. With a bakery to please everyone and their a local business. If you haven't tried the fresh made sandwiches you don't know what your missing. The bucket employees want to be there making it a better place to shop

Not sure how the update works but the shelves are getting bare in some areas of the store. I liked things better when the USA was exporting oil under the former administration. Prices for food are rising and it is because higher energy costs get spread out across the board.

Let's go for it. Food prices are way up as the price of gasoline and diesel increase. Let's just hope we don't have a cold winter. Thank you Brandon.

Update: food prices continue to rise and the weather predictions are for a cold winter. At least we have the strategic oil reserve. Oh wait, B'den sold it to China.

Update: 2022 and now 2023 has seen the quality level of corn on the cob drop. The color of the husk is faded and the quality of the kernels is varies between "sweet and tasty" to "bland and chewy" in the same bag of ears.

I generally wouldn't write a review for Market Basket, because, well it's Market Basket. Which is a good thing. However today I tried a location I never went to before. I was very pleased when I asked someone in the bakery were my favorite bagels were. Happened to be in the other end of the store. But they asked me what flavor I liked and went out back to get me a fresh bag. I think it was service with a smile. Not sure because of the mask. They were certainly very nice!

I really enjoy going to Market Basket as their prices are usually decent and they have good sales. The store is always well stocked and neat.

Had everything I needed and great customer service. It's so easy getting in and out of this store. The fact they had mart carts available and charged is a huge help to me that many places don't provide as well. Great prices and nice to see shelves stocked as well as they were.

This used the Market Basket that every one would go to. Now it's the Ridge. I still come here more than the new one and usually find what I want or need quickly. The crew is still great here. Prices, people, all are great. You're still important, don't forget that.

Went in got my lottery and picked up coleslaw, subrolls. A young man me if I was all set as I was standing in front of the seafood area, while looking at my phone. I'm also a deliver driver, so I check my app constantly for work or for messages if I were shopping for a customer, but not at that time. I was simply getting ready later. Lobster rolls for dinner. Anywho I was helped very quickly. Got my lobsters! I've shopped here twice this week for lobsters and service was great too before today.
