Super friendly staff and the absolute BEST breakfast sandwiches and baked goods in the Great North Woods!! Their meat hand pies are a must!

This is delicious food, and if you mention an allergy concern, they take it seriously. Positive people and a large selection of local stuff for purchase from artwork to face scrubs to little maple syrups. Definitely recommend the matcha cheese cake if it's available.

This morning I decided to try them out for the first time, not only was I blessed with amazing food, I was greeted by the sweetest women who gave me the calmest feeling. I can’t wait to try more of what they offer! I highly recommend trying them out!

Easily the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had and the pastries were unique and absolutely delicious. I spend a lot of time in the areas around the White Mountains and this is hands down the best place for breakfast (and I would guess lunch as well). Owners are very kind and personable, you can tell they take great pride in what they serve. Go support this small business, you’ll be glad you did.

The food is so good and they are both so very friendly. I love visiting and grabbing breakfast. The picture i included is a strawberry rhubarb galentine.

Live Free Foodstore is one of the best places in the North Woods you can find to get a weekly rotated menu of extremely fresh & locally sourced ambrosia for breakfast, lunch, and sweets.

Every week, I look forward to checking their website to see their new selection.

At breakfast time, it's hard to beat their homemade English muffin egg and bacon sandwich with garlicky, sauted spinach. The Monte Cristo is tempting me, though...

For lunch, the reuben and smash burger are my favorites so far. The fresh baked (in-house) bread and the balance of flavors and colors make these sandwiches stand out on another level.

The bakery sweets must be visited in person -- as they don't list them currently on the website -- which is just genius because you have to go in and see the smorgasbord of delicacies yourself. I dare you to try and resist them!

A few things to be mindful of when you visit:

- Most items are in limited batches for the day, so if you see something you want to try, get there quick!
- While there is no indoor seating, they do have a few picnic tables outside to enjoy the food and weather.
- Parking can get tight around noon, just be prepared to use the on street parking.
- Live Free is only open presently Saturday thru Tuesday, plan accordingly!

Just grabbed some lunch from here! Staff is super nice! There freshly squeezed OJ is to die for and there chicken salad Sandiwtch on sour dough omg!!!!!! ABSOLUTLY AMAZING HIGHLY RECOMEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
