Norton Paint

I HIGHLY recommend Norton Paint’s designer Theresa. I have a farmhouse from the 1800’s and I was thinking about repainting my living room for a refresh. I stopped in Norton’s to look at swatches and met Theresa who helped me think through what my refresh would look like. I never utilized the help of an interior designer before so I was hesitant. Theresa assured me that working with her would nail the look I wanted and I’d save money. She was right on both counts! The swatches of colors and photos of furniture, window treatments, rug, ottoman… she nailed it! She even recommended painting the stairway and door from porch to living room black as a focal point. She recommended the painter, Bruce whose team of workers was meticulous! The results are incredible. And she came in under my budget which she was always conscious of. She and Bruce will be doing my upstairs rooms after the holidays! Here are some before and after photos.

I worked with Teresa on a color consultation within my kitchen, dining room and bedroom and she was extremely helpful, detailed oriented and picked the best colors for each room. I really love how she came to my home with so many color boards so we could easily see what worked with the lighting, without buying samples and painting multiple walls. Color boards are so helpful since lighting makes all the difference. Teresa also helped with the kitchen cabinet paint and helped select the paint grade and color AND spoke with the contractors throughout the process. She truly cares about her clients and it shows in the outcomes! Thanks so much for all of your help Norton’s paint and Teresa (color expert)!!

JANE is a star!!!! Remodeling for certain parts of our home. We wanted something different. Enter the world of wallpaper and complete chaos in your mind because of the unlimited options. The world of wallpaper and remodelers could not do it without Jane. Omg!!!! She listened to what we wanted. Immediately narrowed down to a few books and we found our perfection. She knew what we wanted, gave us ideas, found the ideas, worked with us on the vision and trim paint colors. She was so patient and kind and made us feel like she was right there in the project with us. Honestly speaking, could not have done it without her. She even guided us to type of furniture and bedding to go with the bedroom work, which was even more amazing. She's marvelous!!! If you're thinking wallpaper, think Jane at Norton's Paint.

I recently renovated my kitchen, and the last thing to be done was selecting a paint color. I thought that would be the easiest decision among all the choices that I had just had to make, but it was overwhelming in that there were so many options. Were it not for Jane, I would likely still have several paint swatches taped to my wall, unable to make a decision. She was so incredibly helpful. Specifically, she was an excellent listener and helped me to see and think about things that otherwise would not have occurred to me. Utilizing her skills saved me money because it spared me from making a costly mistake (i.e.; having to repaint the kitchen after being dissatisfied with the color). The cherry on the sundae is that she is warm and someone with whom it is very easy to connect. Having Jane as a color consultant made all the difference, and because of her I love the the way the color of my kitchen works with everything else in the room!

I recently came into this store looking for wallpaper, there are really not a lot of places around that carry wallpaper like this store does, I was quickly overwhelmed with the amount of books they have, did not not know where to begin- but then Paola greeted me and kindly helped me find the perfect wallpaper.I thank her very much for all the help, I can say she’s very efficient, patient and definitely knows her books. Now I know i come back soon to do the other rooms.

Ive been using Norton Paint for years. I really like the quality of Benjamin Moore paint. Recently remodeled my bathroom. Needed advice on a couple of painting projects for it. Employee gave me a few options and it came out great.

Knowledgeable and friendly staff. They take time to help non-professionals pick the best product and how to best use it. They stock high end products, from paints to painting supplies. They also have a wallpaper line.

I have been buying Sherwin Williams but my painter asked me to get Benjamin Moore because he was not happy with the number of coats he was doing. The staff here is very knowledgeable. They were able to match a color by using the color name from SW. I think I am sold and might switch to Benjamin Moore for all new paint.

Teresa is amazing. She came to my home for a color consultation and made excellent recommendations. She was very thoughtful and wanted to make sure I was happy with the color choices. She has an excellent eye and is a very talented interior decorator.

Jane was excellent. She was a great help with selecting wall colors that worked with our furniture and adjacent rooms. Very patient and insightful. I highly recommend her.

Teresa is the color consultant that helped me select the right paint colors for my home. She selected colors according to the palate that I wanted. She is very knowledgeable of the paint colors from Benjamin Moore. We purchased an older home and she helped to make it our own. She writes all the colors down and includes a paint color sample. I receive complements on the color scheme whenever someone visits. In addition, she made suggestions on where to place my sconces and a huge mirror. She was the best!

We visited Norton's in search of paint colors for our new home. Teresa is a wonderful interior decorator who works there and came to our home to help us select all of our paint colors. We have received numerous complements on how beautiful the selection of colors are. There are rare moments that you meet someone that touches you and makes your world feel so colorful. In this case, not only was it our lives that were updated with color, but also our house. From the moment we walked into Nortons Paint on Rt 17, we were greeted by Jane (one of Nortons color consultants) who opened our doors to colors. Her patience and knowledge is indescribable. She is just one of those people that you would travel miles just to talk to. As my husband and I were discussing colors, in pops sweet Sue (Jane’s business partner) with the exact color we were describing.. and there we were introduced to the Jane & Sue Duo. Let me tell you… once you meet these ladies, your house will go from an outdated pebble to pure luxury. And… trust me, you need a consultation with these two, because WOW. The combination of the knowledge they bring to the table is without a doubt nothing I have ever seen. They are meant to be a team. Without them, my husband and I would be so lost. They have a passion for what they do and it shines through. They spent time matching the notes of our bricks, grabbing vibes, and turning them into colors. They are magic. And just to add some sugar on top, they introduced us to Paola at Nortons Paint who can analyze you, look into your eyes, and pull out THE PERFECT wallpaper to add spice to your colorful, tasteful picked out colors. Even the men in the front Pete, Lido, and Andy were able to match colors I brought in and were so patient with us. Nortons Paint is phenomenal and if I could I would give them 10 stars because they should be on a home makeover show. Wow. Thank you

I went in looking for paint, but obviously not as easy as it sounds. There was a very nice interior decorator, Teresa, who works there. and asked if I needed help. I made an appointment with her to come to my house and help me with paint colors. She also gave me suggestions on how to improve the overall look of my rooms. Would DEFINITELY recommend anyone needing help with colors and decorating!

Excellent service!! Salesperson was very helpful when my girlfriend and I were picking out paint colors for the rooms in her new house! The man behind the counter was also very helpful and gave great advice on how much paint was needed based on the sizes of the rooms (gave us his recommendations for how many coats of primer and coats of paint for each room!) Paint was mixed very quickly and he also offered to assist is carrying the paint an and the other supplies to the car. I strongly recommend this location!

I just wanted to thank Danielle for helping me the other day during my purchase. As someone who was completely stuck between colors, she really took the time out of her way to help me choose and gave me some really good advice when it comes to matching different color tones. She even gave me the idea of working with wall paper as an accent! If anyone is looking to remodel then I would definitely recommend coming to speak to her. Overall I had great experience and will definitely be recommending this place to friends and family! Thank you!

Excellent, personalized service. The staff was very helpful and polite. Huge selection of colors. We went with the Benjamin Moore 'Historical Collection'. The colors are beautiful and flow seamlessly from room to room. It was a great experience. So much better than going to those big chain stores. We were in and out with our paint in no time at all!
