Had a good first impression. Only waited to be seated maybe 15 minutes, we did go on a Saturday so it’s expected anywhere. Our server was Harleigh, sorry cant exactly remember lol but she was so sweet and friendly. The inside was a nice laid back modern vibe with plants all around. The food was yummy we had brunch, and the coffee was great. I definitely plan on coming back.

It was a little out of our way, but we really enjoyed it. Casual outside (enclosed) dog friendly patio. I had lavender lemonade, which was very refreshing, and the flavors went well together. The garlic fries were excellent, but beware - they are extremely garlicky, which was not a problem for us. I also had a chicken wrap and French onion soup, which were really good too. The server was attentive and the prices were reasonable. We will go again.

Absolutely loved our experience here! We didn't have a reservation and were seated immediately for a later Sunday brunch. We had just skied at Brighton and were pleasantly surprised by being able to be seated so quickly. The prices here are great! Between $10-15 for most things. They have a cocktail menu, beer, and serve assortments of coffee. My husband ordered the biscuits and gravy while I got the breakfast sandwich, and we split the beignets. Delicious! Everything was perfect! My husband wished there were two biscuits included and not just one, but otherwise, the flavor was on point.

This place was really great! A nice very chill vibe, attentive service and great food, although my son said the kids chicken nuggets were a little dry. I got the steak tacos which were amazing. Overall an excellent experience and we will definitely come here again.

Seems like we never have enough parking here . Because the food was so good there . Try it for yourself.

Great breakfast at Root’d Cafe in Cottonwood Heights. Service was fabulous from Harleigh. Can’t wait to come back for dinner.

I absolutely LOVE eating here! The food at brunch is not only impeccable prepared every time I go, but it somehow tastes better each time! The coffee is absolutely amazing and tastes better than anywhere I've been before! The hostess, Olivia, was so kind and quick to seat us and get us settled before our server took over. Cass is a fantastic barista! Everyone is attentive and cares about those that are in the cafe. It is quickly accessible from my home, which makes it that much better!

The french onion soup was delicious! I didn't get the steak tacos but my sister did and she really like them (3 in an order). This is my second time here. I really like the ambiance and the quality of the food.

Such a great vibe. We found this hidden gem just googling anything nearby us. And we were so glad we see stumbled upon it. Our waitress McKayla was awesome and we even had a daughter have a small health issue and one of the wait staff helped with that as well.

The food was fresh and amazing. It tasted even better with the live acoustic guitar player near the fire heaters. Nice touches!

Our server, Jack, was fantastic! Great salesman, attentive, efficient and a super nice guy. The food was excellent and plentiful, we should have shared an order of avocado toast - it's huge! The eggs here are exactly as you order them too.
When you order a double shot of espresso, you get two little espresso cups - maybe the barista is new 🤪, they also said they couldn't make a flat white, but let us customize a latte into basically a flat white 🤔. The drinks were great though!!!
Overall we had a super lovely breakfast on a Sunday morning - thanks, Jack!!!!!

Food was okay. Wish the hashbrowns had more seasoning but besides that everything had a good taste. Beignets were really good though. And they had great tasting coffee. Wish i could have the huevos rancheros but it has meat and you can’t remove it.

Our tacos were excellent! We got the carnitas and mahi mahi. Wasn’t super busy so the food came out quick.

While visiting relatives in Salt Lake City we ate at a modern open concept restaurant named Root'd Cafe. The cafe is clean and bright. The service was friendly and spot on. Surpassing the service is the delicious food. Pleasing to the eye and flavorful. Portions are more than adequate. Cafe is clean and parking was convenient. Restrooms were spotless. Highly recommended.

First time here. We ordered Hummus but the server brought beignets. Okay….They were the worst beignets we’ve ever tasted! Overfried and greasy. The jam was the best part….. but then breakfast was served and saved the day! Most delicious biscuit and gravy and Spinach Bene was divine! We’ll definitely return… just not for the beignets.

They have vegan/gluten free option so it’s great for all lifestyles. The decor is adorable as well! Give it a try!

Oooo yum!!! What a delicious experience!! The food was excellent as well, of course, but I say experience because the entire visit was warming; delicious for the soul... Comfort foods, nice atmosphere, welcoming staff, and a great beer selection!

I will definitely be back with my wife!

The burger with an egg in it... I think it's called the Momma Bird Burger? I'd dripped some yolk onto my plate upon my first bite, but I found it appetizing, so that's the photo I've used. Try it!!!

Our waitress was Harleigh and she was super attentive and provided us with excellent service. The food was delicious too. We had the spinach avocado bene and French dip. The fries with the French dip were just okay, so I would recommend subbing them out for something else. Otherwise, the atmosphere is nice with plants hung all around the dining area and very welcome feeling. Thanks again! ☺

This locally owned independent restaurant always does a great job. The food is super yummy and fresh. There can definitely be a wait during busy hours on the weekend but it's worth the wait. Their kid menu options are also fantastic so my kids love it too

This is a great choice for a neighborhood breakfast spot for those in the Cottonwood Heights area. No need to drive anywhere else. The Eggs Benedict I had were perfectly done. The price is also just right. I’ll be back here at least once while visiting the area in the future.

We love this place! Such a cute, fun spot with patio dining and hip atmosphere. The food is all delicious, the service is excellent, and the restaurant is kept very clean by some of the cutest staff ever! Yes, we will definitely be back again soon. 👍🏻🫶🏼
