Salad can be better if you have balsamic vinaigrette dressing. Hot chocolate can be better, it's so watery. Teriyaki chicken is different from other places . Gyro was good . Also the Ruben sandwich was great!

First time coming. 10/10 would come back. The waitress recommend the blueberry pancakes, and let me tell you, INCREDIBLE. You can taste the love (butter💕).
We also tried the cottonwood heights omelette. It very good and the eggs were fluffy. Very happy with the meal and the service.

Very charming place for breakfast! My family got the blueberry pancakes (10/10 the blueberries felt fresh), the Swiss omelet (10/10 incredible! The mushrooms were the perfect touch), and the bacon and cheese omelet (10/10)!! We loved everything! Plus, the atmosphere is so comfortable!
Only thing to note is that the parking lot is very tiny with limited stalls.

Where can I start? For a long time I had been looking for a breakfast place where you actually felt “nourished” and satisfied. This is it. The ambience, the kind service, the open kitchen concept, and of course the food. Omelettes are hearty and deliciously unexpected (options with gyro meat, feta cheese, chicken) and the quality of everything they use shows: their bread for toasts, great tasting coffee in a larger-than-average mug, actual breakfast potatoes, nothing shredded, burnt, or that tastes like it was previously frozen. So glad to have found this place in an amazing side of town.

Eggs Benedict was amazing. Potatoes were so good. Best food I have had in awhile.

Hidden treasure!! Wonderful little diner. Dine in, take out, outdoor dining. Runs like an old school diner with modern menu, trendy atmosphere, and top notch service. They let us eat and our dog hung out by our table, they even brought our dog a water bowl. Place was fairly busy, we went for lunch, but our food came out extremely fast. I'm incredibly impressed with this place and highly recommend it.

Hidden gem of a cafe! Great, friendly service, very accommodating, good food with large portions, an omelette that should be shared!

I’m a very picky eater, trying to be Keto, so I ordered off the sides portion of the menu and the outcome was delicious. Fresh food, good menu, so many smiles from the staff and chef! Very cozy and comfortable place with parking behind, patio dining in a virtual garden!

Clean, inviting and reasonably priced. Accessible by anyone with wheelchair needs also.

Been going here for years. The food has always been amazing. I tend to stick to the french toast combo for breakfast. For burnch /lunch i recommend the Philly cheese steak with a side a au jus, it's incredible.

The staff are always super friendly, the owner/ chef - Adam, is a really funny and cool guy, and the restaurant is clean, warm and welcoming. I challenge anyone to try to find a better place to get breakfast or lunch in thia area. You wont, I've tried most of them, so save yourself from those other places and drop in here, say hello to chef Adam, and get some good food!

Cottonwood Heights Cafe has been around for over a decade and it is still one of my favorite places to eat. The food here is awesome and Adam is an excellent Chef.
We recently came down from Houston and had to make a stop here.
I highly recommend this establishment for an awesome breakfast experience.

Perfect breakfast diner with Greek infusion across the menu. Incredible omelette, fluffy rich pancakes and the potatoes are herby and delicious. Owner and staff are friendly and attentive. This is our new staple breakfast spot!

Best omelet I’ve ever had. I got the Mediterranean Omelette which has mushrooms, onions, peppers, gyro meat topped with lots of yummy feta. I’ve never had gyro meat in an omelette and it was AMAZING. Service was so fast, food was actually HOT, I can’t even remember the last time I had food that was hot hot. Most places have warm food but not hot if that makes sense. Friendly staff, clean patio that is dog friendly, our experience couldn’t have been any more perfect! Thank you so much!

The food here is amazing. It is a small place but very nice like a small bookstore or den atmosphere. The hours are strange so make sure they are going to be open but everything they make is top notch.

This is one of the last places on earth that still has “soul”. Please find me another place in town (or our country) where the original owner (who earned his success) still says “hi!” to all his customers (and sometimes visits, if he has time) and treats you like you are a welcomed guest. This behavior of his has been my experience each and every time for the last twenty plus years (and I’m not the only one). I’m not going to review the food (specific plate etc.) because that type of review has no impact at a place like this. You see, The food is ALWAYS yummy and the owner never skimps on portions nor the quality of the ingredients. The waitress are always well trained and instinctively kind…And if there is a review that disagrees with my take, I’m rather certain they forgot to mention that every plate served here has a massive portion of heart and soul (The Denver Omelette is what to order btw).
What a wonderful thing, to have a place that still represents “the good old days”. What a wonderful thing, to be able to experience a small piece of heaven at an affordable price. Thank you Cottonwood Cafe for value you bring to us.
Regards, Mike

Always a very delightful experience. Everything I've had here is delicious but especially the hamburger. I dream about that hamburger. It can get crazy busy so make sure you plan for that!! The parking lot can also be a bit of a pain, so I usually park a bit farther away and walk there if i know it's going to be busy.

Breakfast was all i could ever ask for. Parking on Saturdays would try the patience of Jobe. Dine in. Take out might be a smart idea on Saturday.

Been coming Everytime we are in SLC - one of our favs. Staff is nice, friendly and attentive and food is well prepared and fresh. Restaurant is clean and has cozy comfy feel with the tables that aren't crammed in. It has an open kitchen behind the serving counter and the whole area is neat! We've had many delicious breakfasts and even when it's busy you don't feel rushed - very relaxing atmosphere (I think the bookcase wall adds to this feel).
