This place has the kindest and most helpful staff - which makes this feel like community store. Grateful for all of the people who work here. They make a very loyal customer.

I have been going to this safeway since I was 10. I ordered a full sheet cake for my instructors birthday. My directions were rainbow pretty and fun. The baker and whoever decorated (Francisco?) nailed it. My instructor was so happy and refused to cut the cake until all the other teachers came to see it. The staff at this location are awesome. Super helpful and always working hard. :) Thank you

Amazing staff! Well stocked. I have to give praise to Kleve. He is an amazing worker and the reason I will come back to this store. Excellent place to go shop. Everyone should go here.

Previously gave 2 stars because there were never any hand baskets. Which has been fixed so far!

Upping the stars because the pharmacy staff are wonderful. Though I would warn that there always seems to be customer issues with insurance and other problems. I wish people would volunteer earlier if their info has changed, and make things more or timely and go more smoothly for other people.

I love the Safeway on Piney Branch rd . Went on Monday morning for my collard greens because this is the only store I buy them from. And oh my lord they was so beautiful and fresh. I brought 14 bunches.

This is my neighborhood grocery store and I come here often. The selection of produce, and meat is great! Although, I tend to other stores for a greater variety or organic vegetables. The wine and beer selection here is top notch. They have a great deli, and everyone I've interacted with has been very helpful and pleasant. At the end of the day, they usually have what I need, and often a few pleasant surprises as well... Like Impossible Meat. Can't get that at whole foods!

A combination farm store, bakery and nursery with pick your own. Got a baked good and soft serve to enjoy while we look at the plants. Its late for some things but we got peppers and basil plants along with an unusual almost black dahlia. Pick your own strawberries was happening but we got there at the hottest time of the day. A nice puting from DC

I love this Safeway because so many employees are very helpful and I've been shopping here for 27 years! Current management is fabulous!

Now five years later and I still love my Safeway. Produce dept employees work hard to keep everything fresh and well-stocked. Great service and selection throughout the store!

Fully stocked and some serious DEALS and SAVINGS on seafood including Salmon, shrimp, LUMP CRAB MEAT, AND FISH. Plenty of 4 for $19.99 meats.

Found LOVELY flowers on Easter Sunday! Also found pistachios that are very hard to find. Prices were very reasonable!

Shout-out to Larnell who was working the self-checkout late last night, he had a great attitude and went above and beyond to help me (while keeping things moving for other customers too). Just wanted to give credit where it was due, thanks for being a great neighborhood grocery store!

I have known several of the workers for years. This is really a community store. I feel so comfortable and welcomed each time I visit. Just like family!!!

The store is big, clean, Well-stocked and orderly... I didn't have any interaction with the staff so I cannot speak on the overall friendliness or customer service of the store. However, the associate that was at self check-out, where I rang my purchases was pretty friendly to guests she was helping!!!

I always come to this Safeway however tonight topped the cake for excellent customer svc!! James C was amazing!! So polite and so gracious to help me take my shopping bags to my vehicle!!! Chivalry isn't dead !!! Thank you James C keep up the great customer svc!!!!!

We was missing some vegan products ... But global experience was OK ... Was this category store what I can recommend to others ...

Hello EVERYONE! this Safeway is very clean, friendly, & helpful! Plus the Bus is close by, every 20 minutes, who can complain? And the self check-out line is always fast!+the Employee is so helpful! Much better than Walmart! 🕷

Clean location and the lines are handled well. The staff is helpful and polite. I was here on a busy Sunday to purchase cold medicine. I was relieved to not have to wait for minutes just to purchase one item. Well managed, A+ location.

I love my Georgia Avenue Safeway! Mgmt has done a marvelous job of keeping top standards. Staff, including the Security, are Always courteous, helpful. They make sure we find what we need..not just saying " Go down aisle 7..good luck. "

Last year's remodel has done wonders for local morale. Make sure you get a Club Card.

I've been here many times but was floored by their wine offerings. The store is immaculately clean. Never crowded, and makes for a pleasant shopping experience.
