Jesus treated me like family before and after I bought my skiff. Just a good trustworthy guy and can’t say enough good things about him. The shop has a great reputation to begin with and even with that said im throughly impressed.

Super friendly and insightful service. Answered the questions I had as well as the ones I didn’t know to ask. Couldn’t be happier with the nautilus and line setup!

Awesome bait and tackle shop! Love coming to this place as they have so many options and simply the best customer service. It always feels like everyone goes an extra mile to help with anything you need. To my surprise they also have a woman's boutique that always has so many adorable options to pick from and great quality, pretty shirts, even for children. Altogether great staff, amazing products, and beautiful location!

I don't know what I would do without this place! The best staff around. They almost always have live shrimp and crabs, as well as an incredible selection of inshore fishing gear and tackle. If you haven't been, do yourself a favor and check out JD's

Best bait shop in Miami. Been treated like family since the day I walked in when they first opened. The owners of this place are great people and always willing to go the extra mile to do what’s best for their customers. Store is always extra clean and organized no matter what the time of day is. They’ve got the best stock of rods, reels, and baits in south Florida for sure. Check them out if you’re ever in the area.

It's been hard to find good bait near me. Went out of my way to check this place and bait was 💯 good and I felt like a kid at a toy store. Highly recommend

JD Outdoor Adventures is such a welcoming place. They have everything you can think of and it is not just a bait & tackle shop. They really have thought of everything you would possibly need. I love how they incorporated a women's section as well. Definitely will be coming back soon! Highly recommend.

Awesome and friendly service. Jumbo I believe his name was....Spooled my reel and advised me on a surf rod that I purchased. Nice ane clean space. Jumbo and coworker(Ralph) who assisted the wife with Rash guards are top notch employees. Thank You.

Jesus hooked me up with my dream boat - a custom LT 25 with some specs I hadn't seen on any Gheenoe yet! I was talking with my friend Heiko about wanting an LT and he mentioned Jesus, the owner of JD's and gave me his number. I sent a text the next day and was on the phone with Jesus. He led me through all of the option and gave me advice based on his experiences with his LT. It was nearing Christmas and even with the looming holiday, Jesus modified one of his orders and I had the boat delivered to the Keys by early February. This boat is a dream. An absolute dream. Jesus was patient with me and allowed me to come hang out at the shop and go over his stock several times and was always prompt and honest with his responses and recommendations. An A+ business man.
When my boat was delivered, Continental sent a trailer with a light that died. That night, his tech Juan came down and fixed it for me so I was able to put the boat in the water the next day. I am humbled and beyond proud to sport the JD Outdoor Sticker on my boat. I owe so much to Juan that night. A complete professional, while I was being a neurotic mess to get on the water. Fixed it up and I was good to go.
I sincerely thank Juan and Jesus for what they have done for me in such a short amount of time, they have revolutionized how I fish and did everything they could to get me on the water, I am truly grateful.
Not to mention, the tackle selection is bar none. For someone who fishes the Everglades and the Keys regularly, their tackle selection is bar none the best and if it's something specific you are looking for - they will find it. Yo-Zuris, and an impressive selection, DOAs, EP Tarantual for fly fishing, the store is a dream. Thank you guys, thank you guys so much! I will forever be a loyal customer and do all I can to spread the good word of this store!

Was thinking about fly fishing again and happened to find the store on Instagram. So I went with intentions of looking around and maybe asking questions, not really sure how much help I’d get. Sure enough it was an amazing experience to get back into fly fishing with a new setup that Chris helped me picked out with his recommendations. My expectations were far surpassed and was able to leave with a lot of info as he was super helpful teaching me things and setting me up. He’s definitely a great asset to your store and is the reason I’ll go back from now on instead of going to a typical bass pro shops. Thanks again Chris really appreciate all the help.

They have the widest selection of gear and equipment and the best prices. This is the ultimate tackle shop. Really insightful and friendly staff. Better prices than the big-name stores on lures. Set up my dad for father's day with the help of the staff and he couldn't be happier with his new getup.

This place is amazing and fairly economical. Good folks working here excellent selection.

Damien helped me acquire a Nautilus fly reel that I was looking for that no other fly shops had ... His shop was one of the few shops with inventory... He provided outstanding customer service and assisted me through the parent and shipping process since I live out of state. The reel arrived exactly when he said it would arrive and was configured the way I had asked. This is the type of business that we all need to support, instead of defaulting to a big box store. Can't say enough positive things !!!

Believe the reviews. I am usually a little wary of a lot of positive reviews but I decided to check out JD Outdoor Adventures since it was open earlier than other shops and on my route. 5 stars is not enough, as soon as I walked in I was greeted and helped quickly. I picked up some shiners for some freshwater fishing, and I got more than I bought and they were lively and most were a really good size (definitely more good size shiners than what I paid for)

What also stands out is ... the price. I base prices in comparison to large sporting stores (no names... but we know them) which will easily charge you 50%-100% more, and online shopping (Ama.... yeah that one) and while the ease of home delivery is nice .. this local store even beats them in price. (Based off Flouro leader line)

I will definitely be using this local shop as my go to destination. If you got this far in the review then you shouldn't be on the fence anymore about coming here.

This shop is the real deal. I came across them by chance. Just a simple google search for a local bait & tackle shop and I have been hooked ever since. JD’s has a variety of items at very reasonable prices, they carry live bait, drinks and even sell boats! It’s basically a one-stop-shop to meet your fishing needs. The best part, they are that family mom-and-pop (more like father-and-son shop) we would all love to have at the corner street. They helped me set up my first fishing rod and even fixed my line when I (naturally) got it all tangled up on my fishing trip. I go to them for pretty much everything now.

And of course... the staff! SO incredibly helpful. Wow is all I can say. They truly go above and beyond to help you out. Really. Every single staff member has gone the extra mile to make sure I purchased the right item for me. And trust me, I ask a lot of questions! Which speaks miles of their patience lol

Went in to get some pointers and help with a setup for fly fishing. Everyone was extremely friendly and Danny helped me get just what I wanted. After stopping at a few different stores in the Miami area before this one, I can confidently say this is the best suited for a fly fisher and won’t disappoint.

I can’t say enough good things about JDs and how lucky I consider to have them in my backyard. I’ve been spin fishing for my whole life and wanted to get into fly fishing. I started doing some research about where to go in Miami and at most of the local fishing shops as soon as the words fly came out of my mouth I got a dirty look and told “we deal with spin fishing only.” However when I went to JD’s the reaction was the exact opposite. The eyes of the guys who were working lit up when they realized they were going to share something they are passionate with a “newbie.” My boy George spent all the time required to explain everything to me (do I make leaders our or tippet or is that a special kind of line) to questions about everything else. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to purchase that day but I left my number and promised I would be back. When I was ready to go back a couple of days later George checked in with me to make sure I knew everything I needed, once I arrived he had just left the shop but he’d left full info on what I’d picked out (what he’d picked out) and then called me to make sure I was talked through the line selection. His colleagues who were still in the store who’s names I didn’t catch took over from there. Helping me get a good starter fly box put together setting up the reel etc…. Overall I rate the experience as one of the best buying experiences I’ve had in my 37 years. Beyond that looking at their instagram it is clear they are a big part of the community with block parities fly tying gatherings etc. They cherry on top was George texting me yesterday to check and see how my first day on the water went. I’ve spent almost 6 figures on cars before and not gotten this type of follow up. Plus their shirt with the cafe colada on it is awesome and I will be getting one soon!

As an avid and passionate fisherman I have to say this is one of the best designed, planned and organized stores I have ever seen. 🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟 The store and the organization and decorations are beautiful. If you love to fish you have to visit this store. It is nicer than bass pro shop and the variety of products is excellent. Prices are fair and the service is friendly. They have various types of live bait and frozen bait. They have ice, beer and coolers. Boat and engines as well. Take the time to see this exciting new fishing store in Miami.
