This shop smells awesome. The spices are nicely displayed and made for easy purchasing. I'm not sure but they might be able to help in ordering spices they don't have on display.

We stopped in Savory Spice Shop while on vacation visiting family in Albuquerque/Santa Fe. So glad we stumbled upon this great little shop! The staff are very welcoming and knowledgeable. We have already tried some of the unique spices and they are incredible! We definitely plan on taking advantage of their convenient shipping option. We highly recommend Savory Spices to anyone who craves an “extra” bit of flavor!

Excellent selection of spices. Savory offers prepackaged themed spice kits, perfect place to find a gift for everyone. You can taste test every spice and anyone on staff is happy to answer questions or offer advice. Received lots of care and attention on our first visit to this shop. I love these kinds of local businesses and will absolutely be back to support this wonderful location!

Everyone as the shop is super knowledgeable about all of the spices. They definitely have tried quite a bit and so some unique pairings to really understand the unique pallet of the spice. Definitely go there knowing what you might want, it's overwhelming all of the spices that one might what. Get what you want to make and get your spices here, you won't regret it

This place is amazing. There's a rather large variety of spices and they do the portioning in shop so it's possible to get anywhere from an ounce to many ounces on most things. Also, the majority of the spices have a container for smelling and tasting them.

I've never been anywhere quite like this before and plan to become a regular customer.

I love this store so much it's actually one of the reasons I included Santa Fe in my recent road trip. Kate, the manager, is friendly and knowledgeable and we had a great conversation while I was there. There are so many spices, blends, rubs, seasonings and more that I could spend all day in there and not get bored! They even have little recipe cards if you need ideas. I don't even cook all that often, but when I do I love to use the spices I get here. And my favorite part? They ship!

Savory Spice Shop had every spice you could possibly be looking for! The people that work there are extremely helpful and very nice. Bonus - you can sample anything, and they have these great prepackaged spice groupings for specific recipes with the recipe attached, just add the main ingredients - gives you a chance to try something new without buying all the spices right off the bat. 😊

I work downtown and have been sending customers to this shop for some time now, and had never been inside. I had a lovely woman with some freeze dried corn she was raving about. She kindly let my coworker and I ty some and now i can’t get enough. They also have cute “recipe in a bag” things hanging on the wall with the complete set of spices you can need to make fun dishes. I love this place now. It has a fantastic selections pretty much any spice/seasoning your heart desires. The staff is incredibly sweet and very helpful.

Very cool place with TONS of spices. There are certain blends you won't find anywhere else. The staff was very excited to help us find some unique and local spice blends.

You can go to a tourist store or hotel and find a coupon for a free spice blend.

Check out this place if you like to cook or want to pick up a unique gift for a friend or family member.

This place is incredible! I won't buy spices anywhere else again. They have an amazing selection and the owner, Kate, is a wonderful source of knowledge. Go and savor, you can taste everything and its all so fresh!

Great service! There was a huge selection of spices of all sorts. Kate and his associate were able to guide and provide the perfect spice and salsa for my needs. I would highly recommend !

I was overcharged for 4 of the 9 items I bought. I sent an email with a photo of the receipt and items. The owners quickly corrected the problem and explained a new system was being installed. The shop is great, and you can taste the spices before you purchase them. Also, spices can be purchased in any quantity which is very convenient.

The Chimayo Chorizo Sausage Spice is exceptional with pork, but is incredibly delicious with ground Venison or Gazelle.

This place rocks. The first time I picked up their ‘Trinity’ of chili powders and made the best chili ever. Second time I got some smoked Jalapeño powder. Nice people working in there also, they were helpful! A must stop in Santa Fe if you cook.

Savory Spice in Santa Fe has very friendly staff who are very helpful finding whatever kind of seasoning you are looking for. They have an excellent selection of sweet and savory spices, so you can always find something new to try. Also, if you sign up for their birthday program, you get a free small jar of any spice in their shop during your birthday month!

Owner is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Great selection of spices and blends, especially strong on curries (south Asian, African, Caribbean) and north African and Middle Eastern blends, but also great "American" blends. Store also stocks some prepared items, some are seasonal (mustard, pickles). Extremely helpful website: easy to find recipes using a specified spice or blend.

Ok, so good spices are expensive and you are paying a premium for the location. But I can't find any fault with the quality or service. The staff knows their product line well, and they are warm and friendly. One of the most enjoyable experiences I had in the whole plaza area.
