I've ordered from Colony Supply Center for two years straight now. They have quality products and are quick to fill the order. I love their driver too, Larry. What a nice gentleman, took the time to look around the site for the delivery so that my trees and plants won't be harmed, and he also dumped my mulch neatly at the designated site. Very impressed. I had bulk garden soil delivered. The delivery was on-time and the product was excellent. No rocks or debris at all, just high-quality soil. The delivery driver was excellent, working with me to locate exactly where I wanted it dumped, being extra careful not to drive over my lawn. Really couldn't be happier!

We ordered 2.5 truck load of leaf compost for our backyard project. I received a phone call for notification of delivery a few minutes beforehand. Because it was a large amount of compost, Brian, who made delivery, kindly dumped the compost as close as possible to the backyard and advised to split the loads. He was very professional, friendly, and kind, which made the experience with Colony Supply Center exceptionally pleasant. The compost smelled so fresh and good.
We later made more purchases from them and will continue to use their products/services for our yards!

I used them to tune up and sharpen the blades of my tractor and push mower and they did a fantastic job. I also purchase bulk mulch from them regularly and like the quality of the product. Their rates and prices are very reasonable

In trying to find a company that delivered mulch, compost, manure, etc., I was having difficulty finding delivery of bagged products at a good price. Most landscape companies delivered in bulk only and/or the bagged product was overpriced. Finally located Colony Supply Center. Not only did they offer delivery of bagged materials, but also the unit pricing was reasonable and the delivery fee nominal. The instructions left on my online order as to where to place the delivery were followed exactly. I have already recommended to a couple neighbors. Definitely going to use them again.

I've ordered mulch from Colony every year for several years running and I have always had a good experience. The staff are pleasant, the mulch is high quality, the prices are excellent and the delivery is on time every time. Couldn't ask for anything more.

UPDATE! After speaking with the Office Manager I'd like to revise my review to be a full 5 stars. It seems as though this new supplier they're working with is obviously not up to the standards of their company and they apologized for the product not meeting their high standards. Furthermore, on the missed delivery, they'll be refunding us for the inconvenience.

Ordered $400+ worth of product on a Tuesday for delivery that Friday. Confirmed and seemed all good. Friday comes and they never showed. After I called they said they forgot and couldn't deliver till the next week.

Then, when we do get the product, the leaf mulch in particular is absolutely FULL of plastic waste. We spent hours picking out plastic pieces in the rain. There was plastic in every single product that they delivered, but the levels in the Shenandoah Leaf Mulch was disturbing. Maybe contractors don't care if they're dumping tiny pieces of plastic waste all over their projects, but as a home gardener I sure care. Now I have bags of unusable leaf mulch left because really no one should pollute their gardens with it. It's trash.

The delivery process was smooth. Ended up having a question and was able to call and quickly speak with a person. Delivery times were convenient. Man who dropped off the wood was courteous. Wood has burned well. Will buy from them again.

On a recommendation from a neighbor, Colony quickly delivered 6 cu yds of mulch in the correct spot on my driveway. I wasn't sure the online ordering system would relay my note, but it all worked great. Highly recommend

I have taken my mower in for servicing 2 years in a row. recommended by a neighbor. The mower runs like new after servicing; I'll go nowhere else. have only been in MD 2 yrs, so get referrals from neighbors on almost everything

Great customer service. The team does care that the task is done right. I had some concerns about my mower service, they listened, and offered to fix the issue. Such customer service is hard to come by nowadays.

Staff in office are always friendly, helpful, and a pleasure. Guys always very willingly help load my SUV and with a bad back I cannot be of much help but they are consistently great. Very lucky to have this type of establishment right next to Poolesville!!

On time delivery, courteous, and good quality 1/2 cord of firewood; all hardwood. I'll order in the spring time next year to give the wood a little extra time to season in my wood pile.

Product delivered in a reasonable amount of time and when expected. My plants perked up as soon as the new soil was added, so I believe the product they delivered was quality.

We have used Colony Supply the last 2 years. They have great customer service, alerting us to their arrival and making sure they dump the mulch in the correct spot.
