Sunset Food Mart

So on nov 20th mid day i stopped by the sunset mart for some coffee and hot chocolates for the kids. I live in Marshall so sometimes i go home on the old Palouse highway. Dont always stop at sunset mart. But when ever i do i Enjoy it. Staff is always courteous and mindful of the store with out being overbearing. But the story i would like to tell happened yesterday. When i was there i had more items then i could carry in one trip. The very nice and pretty young lady behind the counter let me take one trip of my stuff while still checking out. Not many places would do this and it was a big help. Also after i mentioned it was my birthday off hand. I was given a free shot and very nice small talk from both clerks. As a forty something dad. I dont get very many people who compliment me or go out of there way to be nice to me. Let alone at a connivence store after i had paid for my items. My hats off to you guys. You are head and shoulders above the other providers in the area. Thanks alot for being cool.

Convenience is an understatement. Seemingly always open, chock-full of an impressive assortment of libations. Equally impressive is the outgoing, perpetually pleasant staff.

A neighborhood joint. I have lived on the west side across the sunset boulevard bridge for many many years and this store has always been there.

Stopped by today to purchase some gas, my car only holds 11 gallons, so when I purchase $10 in gas and my gas light never turned off nor did the gas line. Not even a smidgen, unfortunately I did not realize this until I was 5 blocks away. So now I have ran out of gas and are sitting waiting for a friend to come help!

They would rather cater to bums with no money than patrons with money, then they want to be rude to you, there's NO REASON to patron this business, go 3 more blocks to a gas station.

Came in, tried to buy smokes, was harassed and rudely told to be patient and not be rude after I politely asked if I could buy my products and have the cashier lady finish giving the bums directions that were in there. I come with money, I want to just buy my stuff and leave, not be hassles and have to listen to the cashier lady be rude that hasn't even been working as long as iv been a patron the mini Mart. Then after I said something she decided to get indignant and even more rude to me. Iv been coming since the place was opened but now will not be going back and neither will my family or friends until that women is gone. If I could give negative stars I would.

Those cost 3.67$. Be prepared to be ripped off..never understood how some people are okay with robbing from poor people..easy target I guess.

You cannot purchase petrol without being accosted by vagrants. I would rather eat nails than ever use this again. Thought it would improve, hell no.
