This yarn store is such a gem! My friend and I went to get some yarn for some new projects and there are so many amazing yarns to choose from here. What I really loved is how all of the yarn here is super unique and beautiful, I can't wait to work on my new knitting projects!

Stopped by this morning for some yarn and not only was the selection lovely but the man was very helpful, knowledgeable, and patient. Highly recommend!

This is the absolute coolest store!! If you’re into knitting or crocheting, it’s totally worth the trip. The owner was there when I went, and she has the store stocked with so many of her own projects to show examples of the different yarns and patterns. She was so knowledgeable and helpful! I was intimidated at first because I hadn’t knit in a while and didn’t have a specific pattern in mind, but i was really drawn to a hat she made that was on display (picture attached) and she showed me the pattern and helped me gather up all the supplies. It was so helpful! I had always gone to a department craft store like Michaels for yarn and knitting supplies, but this was honestly such a better experience. I can’t wait to continue to support this local business and wish them all the success as they continue— they are truly the best!

Love this place! You'll usually see someone knitting something gorgeous as you walk in it's and it's such a great atmosphere. They're so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable that if you're not sure about something they'll help you find the answer before you leave. To me most importantly is a really nice array of yarns. I was surprised at the prices my first visit, as id always thought prices would be higher, instead I found a lot were comparable to what I'd already been spending. I recommend giving this place a try, you'll be pleasantly surprised

This shop is my bit of paradise in downtown Dover. From the moment you walk through the door and breath in the lovely smell of wool, hear the soothing classical music and see the shop owner’s kind smiling face, you know you’re in a magical place!
Their selection of fibers is amazing, and is only rivaled by their knowledge of the craft and willingness to help sort out any issues you might have with your knitting. Regardless if you’re a pro with the needles or looking to get started, you will always feel welcome and at home at Spinning Yarns!

I love my LYS. While classes have not resumed foray friends, the shop is split pa ked with wonderful choices. The friendly help is a welcome addition. Smiles are there in their eyes. It is a joyful and inspiring environment.

If you love knitting, or if you love someone who does, Margot and Rick can keep them in yarn, patterns, and offer guidance for any level of experience. A great little shop with a lot of heart and warmth!

Amazing customer service. They went way beyond the level of service I expected. I ordered a stocking stuffer of some notions and it was delivered late. Margot insisted on getting them to me on Christmas Eve. Best LYS around.

I don't knit. I shop for knitters. And spinning yarns makes it painless and fun! Beautiful yarns, great patterns, and a ton of knowledge! The owners and staff know what they have in the store, know how to use it, can help with almost any question! Also, they offer classes, so some day, if I were to start knitting, I could learn how right in this wonderful shop! Instead, I buy the knitters in my life classes and yarn and needles. I don't learn as much, but I still reap the benefits of well made hats and sweaters and what nots.

Looked at my pattern, made sure the yarn was the correct color and weight for my project! They took all the time in the World with me. Expert advice. Beautiful yarns...I didn't want to leave.
