Food Lion

Clean store with well lit isles. Checkout was quick, and the cashier was very friendly. I didn't notice any self-checkout, but the lines were short so no issue.

The Tappahannock Food Lion is a fine grocery store. The service is good, it's very clean and there is very little price confusion.

With the way everything is going now in days prices of climbing in gas and restaurants are more expensive. I start relying on home cooked meals to get me day by day. And it been pretty relaxing to cook my own food more often (just my opinion. ) food Lion prices are pretty good for what you pay for them. And if you look real careful at some prices you can make yourself at a decent sub for a good price.

Very nice store. Sharlet in the Deli is most helpful. Store is clean. Restrooms too.. No issues that I'm aware of. Oh Debbie in produce brought out some more bananas because some on display were still green..Very nice store

They had no chunky monkey ice cream in the freezer and it was on sale. Asked the young lady near there if they had any in the back. She checked and found a whole case. Great job. Everyone there super nice.

The change in customer service at Food Lion is quite remarkable. They have always been willing to point out where to find a needed item, now they walk me there. Also when they have no one in their line they stand at the line's entrance so I can see where to go for quick service. When they were not carrying an item I needed they started carrying it. They are all genuinely friendly as well. As for the change in stock I am reserving judgment until I I het used to the changes.

The employees are always polite and courteous. I am always accommodated when I need a special order. Even though milk truck did not arrive on time after the snow storm, they offered substitute products.

We're thankful for Food Lion. Reasonable prices, variety, great service, wonderful friendly people. Our preferred grocery when we travel.

Produce is usually in good condition and the organization makes sense to me. Occasionally I have to ask someone where something is, and they can typically point me in the right direction. Of course they don't have as wide a variety as larger grocery stores in suburban areas, but I can almost always find what I need. Definitely get the app and sign up for their offers, it's tantamount to free money!

We seem to always find what we need at Food Lion 🥳. We shop Walmart a great deal, but always with the understanding that it will be a hit or miss experience 😕.
