Great place to deliver a truck load of feed to. Everyone I dealt with be it on the phone or in person was polite & professional. Would be a pleasure to go back again.

The staff have always been helpful! They are always grabbing the heavy products to bring to the vehicle. They listen and do their best to always help me with explaining products. It's also a great place to find different products like a variety of seeds for the garden, animal feed and a size of hardware cloth I couldn't find anywhere else.

What a wonderful place! Two homesick Iowans, we loved the smells and the kindness of the staff. They were willing to chat with us and talk about the history of their building. We found out the chicks wouldn't be in until March, and the sheep's pen was empty, but we enjoyed the store cats. Even if you don't need 50 lbs of peanuts, Purina chicken feed or a slop bucket of any color, they had cute outdoor decor and several household needs. The people and the ambiance made it so much more than a Feed Store. An ABSOLUTE Must Stop while in Ashland VA. Right across from the Town Hall with great garden benches. And a crosswalk at the best location. Been there - got the T-shirt!

This place is a wonderful business. The staff are genuinely friendly and always willing to help. The store has every bit of charm collected over its 100 years of history.
And to top it off, anyone in staff, including the owner will gladly lend you a hand loading up your purchase.

I've been so impressed with the feed store. I wish I'd patronized them soon. The staff is extremely kind and they go above and beyond for their customers. Letting the kids plant free flowers on train day and the Mother's Day event were so incredible and appreciated. They definitely earned my patronage for a long time. I've purchased flowers, soil, and fertilizer from them, but they have a lot of items for big farms too.

Old style feed and seed store with creaky floors and good knowledgeable service. I needed something to stop the bugs eating on my beans. They had it.

This is a small town store with small town atmosphere, but a carry a large inventory like a chain store. If you are looking for a place with old time great customer service, this is it. The owner and his staff are always quick to help, and if they don't have what you want, they will get it for you. The owner is very knowledgeable about his products, and even carries his own customized mixes. You won't be disappointed.

Love this store! The service is absolutely fabulous. Employees are super helpful. Lot of products and if they don’t have it they will order it for you. The nostalgia is wonderful. I even bring visitors to just tour the store. I have never seen the owner, Danny, without a happy smile and he greets everyone by name! Prices are very competitive! My favorite store! Love the store cats!
