Publix Super Market at Hernando West

The open house event was truly remarkable. We witnessed the store's closure, demolition, and its impressive rebirth, which had been eagerly anticipated for nearly a year. The parking lot was teeming with visitors, and an enchanting green, white, and silver balloon arch adorned the entrance. Inside, the store was bustling with managers, vendors, and employees, all wearing cheerful and welcoming expressions. Naturally, we couldn't resist indulging in a delicious breakfast sandwich and a delectable donut, especially with such friendly service.

Even fellow customers were in high spirits, striking up conversations and sharing in the excitement. It was a rare sight to behold a store so impeccably stocked, clean, and undeniably beautiful. The generosity continued with free reusable bags, handy bag clips, and delightful samples of Boar's Head products at the deli, including ham, cheese, and salami. The bakery tantalized our taste buds with complimentary apple pie samples, while the frozen food section surprised us with Christmas cookie ice cream samples. The grand opening was an undeniable success, leaving us eagerly anticipating our next visit.

Wonderful staff at Publix. At the meats section they help me to get the beef tenderloin I needed for my recipe. Amazing customer service.

The parking lot is easy to maneuver through.Camera store is a completely grea girlfriend lay right knee.Well lay out in your school and there's always the staff is friendly and courteous and helpful

Love the bogo deals. You can never go wrong in publix, everything is always fresh, the store is always bright and clean. My only negative would be that it would be awesome if they would expand their choices in the ethnic aisle with more options and a variety of ethnicities

I bought mostly sale items for Christmas dinner. The buy one get one helped a lot. The store was clean and the vegetables were excellent like they came from heaven. Keep up the good work Publix.

Lots of deals, lots of fresh products, and new staff ready to help find whatever you are looking for. Not the closest store to me, but I'm nearby often enough to make it a regular stop. Nice to have it back!

Loving the updated Publix!!! The bakery and deli is so good at this one! Even has a little sitting area near it. My favorite part is the warm cookies and pastries that you can purchase.

I shop at Publix often. The prepared meals in the deli are delicious. Plus Publix yogurt is my favorite. Store is clean and check out isles are always available. It's where 📢 shopping is a Pleasure 🎙🎶

They were well organized & everyone was so pleasant from the deli to the sushi counter to the cashier. It was a lovely shopping experience!

This is an old school Publix. If you grew up in Florida and were born in the last century I think you will know what I mean. The layout, curb parking and entrance all scream that this must have been the first Publix in Spring Hill.

And we love it!

Although we shop here regularly, we stopped in for ice cream on this occasion. The freezers were full of yummy Publix Premium ice cream plus we were able to get very fresh bananas out of the produce area for our sundae deserts.

The clerk who checked us out was so very nice. I think her name was Jenni? She was kind to the older man in front of us and then treated us like family also. We were so impressed by her!

Publix supermarkets are always #1. They are clean with friendly, helpful staff. The only downfall for me is that I find is that Publix is a bit pricey.

Once you get use to the layout of the new store it flows well, but the produce area is somewhat constricted.

Absolutely stunning to see all the old familiar things after so many years and usual great prices
