Much appreciation to Sarah for talking to the Pharmacist Allan and asking about my symptoms for me. Quick and caring response helped me get the help I needed and will recover sooner because of this. Very caring staff

I started using this Walgreens out of convenience to my home when I first loved here almost a year ago. However, I’ve continued to use because Dr. Amaka and the pharmacy technicians at this location have always gone above and beyond to assist my family with our needs. They are always more than happy to work with my physicians to make sure we get the medications we need that are also covered by our insurance. Once, my son knocked over his liquid antibiotics and the male technician worked readily to get it refilled and gave us an immediate call once it was completed for pick up. They do these courtesies on a regular basis for us, and always do so with amazing customer service.

We are new to the area...buying a home in Riverwalk. While traveling here, I lost my eye drops for glaucoma. My insurance was not going to allow a new prescription without charging me $525+! The ladies in the pharmacy went above and beyond. They made a call to my insurance company and weren't willing to just talk with the first person who wasnt helpful, but asked for a supervisor. This was all happening at 9:15 at night and they persisted until they got results. I was able to get my prescription filled for $125. This is what customer service is all about! Thank you so much. This Walgreens will be our new Pharmacy and more! P.S. just found out the ladies: Amauka, who made the call, and Candice who assisted. Hope I spelled their names correctly. I also called their manager, Chris, to brag on them.

We visited this stores pharmacy today because my wifes albuterol had expired and she was having a hard time breathing. We had called to have her prescription transferred here but for some reason they did not have it in their systems when we got there. At first I was very frustrated because this was a serious problem under the circumstances. When the pharmacist saw how much trouble she was having and that she needed the medication, she promply informed us that it would only take a few minutes to transfer and fill the prescription. Her name was Akama and I am thankful for good people like her. she took action quickly and got my wife what she needed. Thank you

I had a wonderful experience at this place when taking my first shot for the COVID vaccine! A lady named Virginia who did the shot did it so effortlessly and wonderfully, I didn’t feel a single thing! I am definitely coming again for my second shot.

Tonight the Pharmacist at this location really took his time to ensure I received the medication. He called my insurance company for clarification and shortly called me again stating all was straightened out and I could pick up the medication.

Best Walgreens we have ever been to. Ebony was so helpful and pleasant person. She showed true customer service above and beyond! Thank you!

They got va bilingual staff ...very professional from Virginia to Maria I’ll like to say thank you to Walgreens for have it in the team.

Wonderful service always

I stopped in to get hot/cold pack for pain. Picked up one labeled wrong and found out many of them were labeled wrong. Manager did not honor the price but gave me a discount. Hmmmm. All Walgreens bathrooms are sub par. I think for them to have a HEALTHY image their bathrooms could reflect that. Store was clean. Cashier was more than patient with resolving the issues.

Ive been here two for photos. Both times the photos were not ready hours after i was told they’d be ready. On the third occasion, i needed a passport photo. Around 8:00 PM I called and asked what was the latest time i could come in for a photo. The employee responded “ion know like 10”. I arrived at 9:07 and behind the counter was a woman who wasn’t dressed in anything which identified her as a Walgreens employee. I explained why i was there, she said passport is closed it closes at 9. I then explained that I called beforehand and what information was told to me. She left from behind the photo counter for several minutes. During this time, i over heard her asking an employee if they told a caller on the phone that the photo department closes at 10. She came back and said “i will do for you”. Eventually, i got my photos.

This walgreens is sufficient for shopping but the photo department is not.

Store is well stocked but the customer service is very poor and extremely slow

Terrible Customer service. I called waited five minutes till someone picked up, Then was told rudely “to please hold” Waiting for 10 more minutes on the phone then they awnsered and immediately hung up the phone.
The owner really needs to talk to the Employees here about how to treat customers it seems from all of you. I’m reading as well. This is a common problem with them, It happened to me as well.

Personally, I think they should invest in some new shirts for their employees

Even I spelled out clearly the name of the prescription I wanted to fill, they still did it wrong. I didn’t notice that they gave me a wrong medicine after I went home, by then it is too late to return it and get a refund.

Worst service ever. The owner should be ashamed. Probably just collects a check and go. This type of place needs to be in the hood somewhere. Why come out west with this type of service. Virginia is sitting there chatting about her personal life with a customer she knows while phone is ringing off the hook. She could be helping someone. I certainly wouldn’t be chatting no more than to help someone if we are getting slammed. I should’ve read the comments before I came here because I just noticed others have had the same experience. Didn’t think a place out west would remind me of the hood.

Virginia isn't a very friendly or good customer service rep. She has the personality of a fly. I'm never using this pharmacy again.
