Ingles Markets

Ingles is probably the nicest, cleanest, and best-organized grocer in the Dawsonville area. Over the past eight years, I Have always found this store ultra clean and very well stocked in every department.

When you walk in the door, you immediately know you are in a quality store with the organization, large open isles, and bright lighting. Ingles easily has the largest selection in every department store in the area and reminds me of the Fred Meijer stores in Kentucky and Indiana between the selection and large, comfortable, uncluttered isles. Finding a shopping cart at the front entrance is never a problem; the carts are clean and in great working order.

In all of my visits, I have never had a poor or lackluster customer service experience; all of the staff members I have interacted with have been friendly, cheerful, and helpful. But, most importantly, they seem to enjoy their jobs and work.

They have the Ingles Advantage Card for rewards, which provides discounts. I dislike the reward card program. I would rather get the best price without having to use a card designed to drive customer loyalty instead of driving customer loyalty by offering the best prices on items I purchase backed by incredible customer service, but it is the way most grocers and stores now do business. In all honesty, most of the prices with any of the store loyalty cards is not a bargain, but the "regular" price without the card is overpriced.

Prices at Ingles are higher than most other local competitors, such as Kroger, Publix, and Walmart, in town. But, while the price may be higher on most items, the quality is usually much better. Hence the old adage, you get what you pay for. While the prices may be higher overall, you will still find great value by shopping at Ingles.

I purchase items monthly at Kroger, Publix, Walmart, and Ingles. Ingles's bakery, produce, and seafood departments are superior to any competitor in the area.

I love the store; it is very comfortable and easy to shop, and I will continue patronizing Ingles.

Everyone has always said their meat counter is the best around and boy were they right. We bought 3 pounds of New York Strip thick cut and they had to be some of the best strips we have had in years. We love the fresh daily bakery goods and meat counter. We still use other grocers for stuff everyone carries as they have better deals but we will always come in for fresh meat and deli.

Great, grocery store. The usual stuff, they have it on the shelves. It’s there for you to take and then pay for. You can definitely go through the self check out and do the work yourself, or the people will cash you out if you don’t wanna do that.

I love Ingles! Everything is always clean and the Produce and Seafood Markets are always fresh and vibrant. The shelf items are well-organizing with the normal items, but they also carry unique brands that are fun to try. Great for local and regional foods too.

The manager and employees are excellent! Clean and organized store.

Rayschelle in the bakery is amazing! She made and decorated my wedding cake and did a wonderful job, and at a reasonable price as well! Looks like something that would cost $500+ at a bakery boutique! Highly recommend her, she is an artist and does exquisite work! Has many years of culinary school under her belt!

A little higher priced than most grocerily stores in town but very clean, run good deals / specials and staff is awesome and friendly.

Does not always offer "family size" packages (like King's Hawaiian Rolls), but their produce is always good, their deli counter team does a good job.
Meat selection is beautiful and the meat specials are consistently good.
Aisles are easy to navigate.
Cashiers are always pleasant. as well.
We are regulars.

Great deli, hot meals to choose from, great salad (you make your own!) Eat there or take with you. I always find what I'm looking for! Great selection of groceries to choose from and lots of can goods!! Good quality meat selection too! Floral department is nice as well. Stop in and check it out!!

Everyone's nice. It's never really crowded.

Ingles is always neat and clean.... Even the restrooms. Shelves are well stocked. Can find produce and other items (spices, feminine products, Asian food, crackers) that you can't find in other stores. When I go out of state to visit I always stop by Ingles before I go so I can pick up one or two of those items

Great staff and I love how the young men and young ladies really cater to me. They make small talk very well. Make u feel like it's more personal than just a shopping trip. And always offer to walk me out and help with my groceries. Thanks guys keep up the good work.

Only place I will shop for groceries. Place was clean. Shelves were stocked. Employees are very friendly and helpful. There was a elderly woman in front of use. Wanted an Ingles Card. She didn't speak clear English. I was able to let the cashier what she wanted also filled out info on the card for it. I am very impressed with the cashier, she didn't get frustrated for not being able to understand the woman. So Ingles has the best People working for them.

I had an exceptional experience yesterday! A cashier cheerfully announced her lane was open with no wait and then the customer service rep opened a lane.

The customer service rep was fast, efficient and yet still managed to carefully handle my fragile items like bread, by setting it aside.

The female bagger met these same standards. They worked as a team! I thanked them for their hard work. I know these are trying times and I appreciate attention to detail! You have my patronage!
