Captain D's in Dawsonville, GA is on point! My order is correct every time! The food is fresh and hot. The customer service has always been pleasant and friendly.

Captains Ds... Who would have thunk, fresh food, cooked perfectly and consistency... The southern whitefish is my to go meal that is cooked perfectly every time I order it. Always consistently good! I recommend ordering the funnel cake sticks to end your meal, they were cooked perfectly crisp and just enough sugar to end the meal... Thanks to the staff for delivering above expectations.

PS: and don't forget the okra : )

Great experience here. Super nice customer service, especially the young lady with purple hair. I asked for all the sauces and they brought out sauces I didn't know they had. Food was very fresh and delicious.

Good inexpensive seafood, friendly service. Try the fire 🔥 grilled selections, they are fantastic... 😊

The food is still excellent, cooked fresh and fast. Unfortunately, the prices increased, but so have all other restaurants.
Please bring back the senior discount!!

The food and service is still excellent. The new $5.99 menu has several great choices and it's plenty of food for most people, an excellent value.. 😊

We got there 30 minutes before closing time , and you would have never have known they were trying to get ready to close. The service was very good and the food was good as well. I will definitely eat there again and would recommend them as well.

This captain D's crew has me head over heels in love with this location. From the stunning greeting I got from my new bestie also named Nicole and Rachel. To the fresh food Justin, jabari and Keith served me. So a great time at Captain D's. Thank you all!!!!

I was extremely impressed by this location. I don’t think I’ve ever eaten at a Captain D’s, nor do I normally eat much fried food. However, we will be back. Ordered the sampler platter and EVERYTHING tasted great and was very fresh. Renne was friendly, kind and knowledgeable and even made menu suggestions. Not the kind of service you’d normally receive at a fast food restaurant but how it should be more often. Thank you Renne and the other 2 behind the counter (sorry I didn’t catch your names).

Captain D's is always good, but the Dawsonville location is top notch. The people working are so welcoming and friendly.

Wife and I just came out of the Doctors and didn’t feel like cooking. The Ms wanted something different so we went to Captain D’s. We’ve never been there b-4 and wasn’t expecting much, boy were we ever surprised. For a fast food place we gave it 5 stars and we never give 5 stars to any fast food joint. Everything was lightly battered and tasty , very pleasant employees willing to take the time to to help instead of just hustle you out the door, I can honestly say the Ms and I will be going back to the DAWSONVILLE CAPTAIN Ds for another delightful and delicious meal, keep up the great work , people do notice 👍🏻😋

We have not eaten at Captain D's for years.

I was searching online for healthy fast-food options, and when Captain D's came up, I almost looked past it thinking they offered only deep fried items. I happened to glance at their full Nutrition Guide on their website and am glad I did. While they do provide a complete selection of fried foods, they also have a grilled food selection.

The service was excellent. The young lady helping us at the counter was friendly and offered good advice on menu selection even making personal recommendations. A staff member came to our table asking about our meal, and when we left, we were asked if we enjoyed it. Very personal service even though we arrived during a dinner crowd.

Our food was prepared fresh for our order. It was served hot. Both my wife and I were very impressed with the taste and quality of our meal. I had read reviews where people talked about portion sizes being small. We did not find this to be the case. We ordered the Grilled White Fish with Grilled Shrimp Skewer (280 calories) with sides of Green Beans (70 calories) and Steamed Broccoli (20 calories) the meal was served with Rice and a Bread Roll. We did not eat the rice or bread so our entire dinner was 370 calories and we both were satisfied and filled. Our experience was that we received a good portion of food for the price we paid.

The restaurant was clean, and at various times during our visit, we observed staff members out cleaning tables and wiping down surfaces.

The setting for Captian D's is not like most fast food locations. It was more laid back and comfortable. It appeared more like the old family style restaurants with a fast food flair.

All in all, we had a great experience from start to finish and will return. Our total cost for two full dinners and one drink came to $20, excellent value for the money spent.

Came here like 5 minutes before closing and I thought they were gonna get mad at me for ordering so late, but instead they were super kind and gave me a few extra goodies! This is my new favorite restaurant around here!

I was the very first customer of the day yesterday. The restaurant was very clean at opening. Very polite and helpful waitress and cashier and cook. The giant fish sandwich combo is my favorite. Thank you guys for a wonderful brunch. You guys rock..

Ok ok settle down. Yes 5 stars. Why you ask.my food was hot fresh and right. Yes it took 5 to 10 minutes but wow it was great. Down loaded the app got a choice of appetizers or dessert. The baked potato was wonderful real sour cream. Thank you for my hot fresh food. I hope everyone gets to try and I hope that it was as good as ours was.

When times are tough and everyone is fussing at everyone and there is so much "anger" in the world right now....it was SO NICE to drive up and hear a very sweet voice at the Dawsonville location....once I got to the window I had to tell her how nice it was to hear such a sweet voice...Capt D? Y'all did good hiring that little lady...very sweet and kind....thank you for that...the food was excellent....no wait time!
