Wake County ABC Liquor Store

The selection of whiskey is the best I've ever seen! The gentleman behind the counter kindly looked up the brand we were looking for and located it in the store for us, but with the awesome selection available we ended up purchasing something different. He was extremely helpful though. We stopped here while visiting family so this store is nothing like what we have in our hometown. I will certainly miss it! They have everything (almost).

Very friendly staff knew about a Korean spirit and didn’t have to look around for it. Sign that they have a depth of product knowledge.

Larger selection of alcohol. We were looking for aguardiente , 🇨🇴, and we found Aguardiente Antique. Friendly staff.

Fabulous employees at this location. They were very informative, friendly and went out of their way to assist me. The store is clean and has a great selection of items. One employee even pointed out a gift set that was even cheaper to save me some money. The Apex location could certainly learn from this store as to how to greet and assist customers. Busy location and not always easy to get in and out but I would certainly shop there again.

The new store is much larger than the old one and has a slightly better selection.

Nice, well-stocked larger size store with some specialty boxes, lots of airplane bottles and a fancy pants locked cabinet for the pricey stuff. Nice workers. Last of 5 stars added for the entry way buffalo statue sporring his own covid mask. Fun crew!

Love this location, store is kept clean and fully stocked! The staff is so nice and pleasant to speak with! I fully recommended this location.

They even have Mezcal with the worm in it. The worm is great. 😁 They have great selections and friendly staff. The staff will help you to locate items in the store and they will also answer questions about different types of alcohol if you like. Why does the state of NC own all liquor stores though?

The ABC store I went to was in Cary near Bond Park off Cary Parkway.
I am NOT a person who knows much about liquor. The clerks in the store explained things to me, answered questions, suggested the little bottle samples so I could figure out what I liked (and hopefully LEARN something in the process), and were plain nice and friendly!
I know which store I'll go back to from now on!

Your average liquor store. But I find the team there to be very friendly. They are very helpful and actually seem as though they like their job. Don't find that too many places nowadays. Give it a try.
