Nice little store. Very friendly and helpful staff. They are priced comparable to the local Brookshire's and carry a few niche items that Brookshire's does not. I'll be back! Highly recommended!

Local grocery store for your basic supplies. Expect prices to be slightly higher. They have the usual loss leaders but prices are reasonable.

I really enjoy going to David's SuperMarket because the stall is always friendly, willing to help you what you cannot seem to find. And I like David's prices. I really like his meat and fresh veggies he has laid out. Always fresh. Before my husband passed away we lived in Alvarado Texas..76009 And it was always a toss up between shopping at David's SuperMarket or shopping at Brookshires there in Alvarado Texas. So l did what a sensible shopper should do.. Since I enjoyed both stores l make to list of groceries and I would tell my husband to put the names on both PCs of paper ..him to have a pair of scissors and write David's name on one and. Brookshires on the other, and that was fair enough to me so that's how we did our shopping twice a month. And there was no cheating aloud.

I like going there instead of walmart or especially brookshires. Its calm and chill and has everything you need.
I never feel stressed or rushed in there and reminds me of the old country grocery days!!!

Old school grocery. Makes e think of shopping with my Momma in the 90s. Have awesome prices and fresh produce and meats that make a grill hungry. Sweet staff and great selections i.n every department. Thanks y'all !!

I ran in for a few things I forgot to bring with us on vacation. Found everything we needed and the prices weren't bad.

First time there. Only place I have seen with jumbo eggs. It was clean...not perfect but much better than I thought it would be. Staff helpful and friendly. I would go back

Has just about everything you'd expect and then some. Knowledge employees, passionate about their job and always positive attitude.

Employees have been friendly each visit. Really enjoy shopping here for quick trips and a lot less people, but don't tell anyone. :)

There is always something a little different at David's than anywhere else including variations of ethnic ingredients such as dehydrated wood ear mushrooms. Went good in my pad thai!

I like shopping at David's grocery in Whitney because it's not crowded, has a good selection and friendly, helpful employees. Most folks comply with Governor's mask request and distance.

This is a great small town grocery store. I can always find what I need here. The weekly ads are great and in stock. Friendly staff from cashier, produce to the meat market and the friendly carry out.

Prices are on the high side, but Whitney is a small town. Quality of their foods is good. Staff is friendly.
