Albertsons

This market is just your standard supermarket, but it was a pleasant shopping experience. Every aisle is well organized and you can find your necessities without much hassle. The prices are moderate and the quality of items speak for the price. The employees are also kind. Pretty similar to Vons, which is another branch of Albertsons Companies, Inc.

It’s unusual for me to google review a chain supermarket: this Albertsons is just that UNUSUAL in a good way.

Whenever I am working or staying in the area I visit this store on Hillhurst Ave.
The meat is top grade . The butchers will cut a prime steak at no extra charge.
The produce is fresh and in season. Last summer i found the sweetest varieties of cherries and stone fruits.
It’s like a veritable farmer’s market in a grocery store.
I haven’t tried the bakery. The desserts , especially cakes ,appear to be delicious and lovely.

The store is always clean and the staff very helpful.
I recommend picking up a steak and potatoes and creating your own fine dining at home !
The fruit is just the “cherry on the top”.

I have lived here for 10years and I love this place and the people in it. They get to know you and ask me how I’m doing and know when things are off. Great store, wonderful people

Lots of free parking spaces, clean and in a good neighborhood. Prices are competitive for the area now that Food4Less closed. The employees and management are mostly cheerful and friendly. This is the go-to place for money orders at night because most places stop selling them by 8pm or earlier. They sell them here until closing and saved my hide a time or two when rent via money order was due and I needed to pay it by midnight.

This is where we went for groceries growing up. It used to be an Alpha Beta, then Lucky and finally Albertsons. It has and continues to be always a nice clean grocery store with good friendly staff. Nestled in Los Feliz, the store is always calm with little civil disturbances.

OMG, the best gluten free selection! Helpful, friendly staff. Awesome!

They just reorganized and updated the place, it looks great now. Whole foods or trader joe- esque. Cleaner and more modern inside.

Update- still nicely organized, though prices have gone up everywhere 🤪
There's a whole rack of ready made meals that are quite good and tasty.

This is a place that absolutely has everything that you need except for unless you're not Jewish not Hispanic not white or basically there's something missing there I think it's probably it's just missing no I think they have everything I should give it five stars but it's just something about it maybe it's the attitude of the register people there they're just a little they're just more concerned about their job more than I think I care to be so again I should give him a five because the do a good job it just I don't know I guess I wish okay I'll give them five

I have only shopped here a few times because it is further than I want to travel to get groceries. But when I do go, I am reminded what a great store it is compared to the Ralphs that I shop at. It is bigger, cleaner and more well stocked than any other supermarket I have been to. Plus their prices are better. And the staff are so nice, pleasant and helpful. I need to come here more often.

This store has a very small footprint but a really terrific selection! It's very elegantly curated. Really nice employees, short lines (usually) and an amazing selection of Bob's Red Mill alternative flours (rye, rice, etc) The cake decorator is better than what you expect at a grocery store and their basic birthday cake (white cake with traditional buttercream) is addictive.

Clean store, friendly staff, great choice of fresh produce, seafood and meats. Was visiting family in Los Feliz and was surprised to find produce much cheaper, and nicer, than what I regularly buy at my local Safeway in OR. I also loved the floor plan that begins in fresh fruits/veggies and ends in bakery.

Great variety of goods, high quality, clean, good parking space, friendly staff.
I recommend Albertsons.
Especially the ready fried and fresh chickens.
How do they get them so juicy, so well spiced?

I love the store setup, and know they offer fresh produce, many pick up and go options for parties. Make specialty cakes and even have fresh flowers. Many imported cheeses and Holiday foods and gifts for a last minute trip, when you get an invite or have a last minute impromptu meeting or party. Just the right thing is easy to find.

I haven't been to this Albertsons in a while. The other day I stopped and was ordering from the deli. David helped me. He went out of his way & was very helpful as I made decisions. When someone goes the extra I like to give a shout out.

Awesome employees. Very helpful in the cake department and deli. I needed too take some birthday food and cake on so it notice and they made it easy for me. There's also a Wells Fargo branch in the store that's even open on Sundays.

Chill and relax atmosphere. Employees going above and beyond. Found everything I needed and them some. Felt no rush at all while shopping. This kind of place in Los Angeles is a rarity during rush hours !!!

Nice Albertson's in Los Feliz area. Store is clean and for the most part well stocked despite the stay at home order and the hording that has been going on recently. The staff are friendly and attentive. The store has good parking except on the busyiest days. Probably one of best choices for the Los Feliz/Silverlake area without the pretentiousness of a whole foods 365 or the added expense.
