Good deals! I love dollar general a lot, but THE CLEANEST RESTROOMS EVER, friendly staff, and a neat half-off table up front makes this place nice. Also, if you're into hot wheels, the are usually stocked with the exclusives, which is neat. Anyways, a good stop, and a great place to find anything you might need for your travels!!

Short staffed, high turnover rate. A man in management, Cane I believe. Every experience with him is a bad one. Either he’s complaining to the customer that the company is over working and under staffing “him”, has a negative attitude toward staff and customers.. Or, which has happened more times then I can count, he is either outside smoking and not available for staff if they need him. Which backs up the line and stresses the staff and customers. This is all before he spends a lot of time in the bathroom, which makes the entire store smell of fecal Oder. He does this so often, that the customers joke amongst themselves about it. Personally he has made my shopping experience negative in some way every single time. I keep saying I won’t return to that location due to principal alone, but it is within close proximity to my house, so out of convenience only I still go there. One time I requested his assistance while cashing out on the self cash out lane, he kept condescendingly calling me Ma’am. I joked it off at first but then he kept doing it to where I told him to stop and customers were all standing in awe.’The general manager was in the room just behind the registers and heard everything, did nothing. After dealing with him, I always walk out in negative space, after not walking in that way. It’s discouraging. Humiliating to the staff that have to keep a straight face while dealing with him in front of customers. The last time I shopped there, some of what was mentioned above transpired yet again. He looks and is angry. Very unwelcoming. I’ve worked retail before and it can be trying, but he brings out the worst with his comfortability in just being a jerk to everyone around him. I would like to see him go elsewhere to something that might fit his personality a little better, such as not dealing with any public, customers, or people in general. I see this new store that I was super excited to have built next to my home, has a high turnover rate due to staff alliances. Or so as I have been told. I love this store and appreciate the deals that I take advantage of, there are and have been great staff there past and present. My rating is mainly about the one staff. I’m sorry, but someone had to say something. I guarantee if a secret shopper shopped on a day he’s been there, everything I mentioned above would be transpiring. Unfortunately. Who wants a bad shopping experience? You have to be kind to people bc you never know what they might be dealing with outside of that transaction.
