The price by pound can add up quickly as you fill up your bucket, but the overall experience and available options makes it a fun time. Happy to support this local candy shop. I rarely get to visit Laguna but when I do I make sure to stop by Candy Baron. They have a specific flavor of taffy I LOVE that I can't find anywhere else (extra spicy cinnamon taffy mmmmmm) They charge taffy by the weight and they have a HUGE selection. Not only taffy, but unique and fun candy gifts too. Make sure to pay attention to what taffy you get bc some look very similar to each other. (Extra spicy is pink with little dark specks while strawberry is pink with a red stripe, etc)

Great visit to a very unique store with a huge variety of product and great customer service. I was thrilled to see some candy from other countries as well, and saw things from my childhood I hadn’t seen in years.

If you're ever going to Laguna Beach I highly recommend stopping here. Even if you're not looking to buy anything the variety of candies are entertaining to look at!

While the prices can be a bit high at times for certain things, there's candy here I've never been able to find elsewhere and the staff are always nice! They've been open since I was just a kid, and I always stop by when I'm in Laguna!

Best salt water taffy I've ever had. S'mores, honey, caramel swirl, and cookies and creme are standout fantastic. Will be ordering more online.

I cound some fancy french rose mints with an anise seed in the center. Pretty delightful.

Wonderful place to cure any sweet craving. Known for the salt water Taffy but they have a ton of Euro candies and any other fun / novelty type sweets. Def recommend.

My daughter got a pez dispenser on Halloween. We needed a refill but ever store except the candy baron was out. A little pricey but fantastic variety and a fun atmosphere to boot.

Just about any candy you could think of, they've got. From barrels and barrels of various taffy to a whole section of different gums and then even novelty Pez dispensers, its all here. If you have a hankering for a cavity, I recommend this place to fulfill your deepest sweet-tooth desires.
