Mid East Market

Mid East Market is a good place to eat as it's different from other restaurants. You get to see and treat your family and friends how Eastern people have their meal. Good place to eat and I like it.

Have been back several times and introduced some friends to this place. Almost everyone of them loved it. One friend even said "It's the best I've ever had!"

The Tony's special which is basically a grilled chicken sandwich is great if you want something on the lighter side and not feel too full. A great sandwich for $8.99. The chicken shewarma plate looks and tastes great and it comes with a fresh vegetable salad, hummus and pita bread. Plus I feel like I'm eating a little bit healthier when I come here?

Holy fresh handmade falafels, Mid East Market has a whole kitchen with delicious lamb shawarma and homemade hummus for takeout. Their falafels are SO light, doesn't leave you feeling oiled out and heavy. The falafels have a crisp first bite, and soft center, with lil sesames around the shell. The lamb shawarma was grilled fresh, and left us salivating. Taking a moment to type, free Falasteen, and liberation for the oppressed. Bay Area, come Support Palestinian-owned local biz! There's also a butcher who sells kafta, which I learned is a pre-mix of either ground lamb or beef with Palestinian traditional spices. It all looked so fresh. They also have a lil market/bodega section where they do sell Palestinian olive oil. The one the owner rec'd has a light, floral flavor and SO different from the olive oil I've grown up having at Costco or TJ's. I'm never going back to that, only getting my olive oil from Palestine.

Great family run business that I love to support. Restaurant and grocery store are awesome! Just make sure to go when it’s not busy because parking can be hard.

They have all of the items I was shopping for : frozen Basterma (cured meat), frozen molokhiya (jew mellow) , frozen Bamiya (okra), pomegranate molasses (Debs rommane), merguez (spiced lamb/beef sausage) and much more.

Amazing food that's hard to find elsewhere for the money you pay. The Lamb Shawarma is highly recommended!

A great place to shop with a large selection of Hookah Tobacco products and a great side little deli with good tasting food at reasonable priced. They all also have different meat cuts.

They have a ton of middle eastern items. I came in for sumac and other spices so much cheaper than buying through Amazon.

Best falafel in the Bay Area and a fantastic selection of middle-eastern food supplies. If Tony doesn't have something you are looking for, he will be sure to try to get it to you. Going to Mid-East market is like visiting family.

The best people work here. The products are very good. Butchery needs a make-over, but all in all, I'm glad to have it in my neighborhood.

Hidden in the heart of Milbrae, locally owned and operated family run business. They have halal meat and poultry products next door. Lots of selection for your Middle East food choices, fresh bread, and produce options.

Also don’t forget to pick up some fresh hummus and falafels to go.

Mom and pop take out restaurant on one side serves a small but excellent menu. Ingredients fresh. Meat well marinated. Food is well cooked and not oily. Falafel was great. Prices noticeably less than other local kabob places. I plan to go again and check out more of the menu.

Eating here for almost 5 to 6 years. Reviewing 1st time. Their falafel are best. Wraps has huge meat quantity.

If you're staying in the area and you need some bottled water or maybe some soda, this is a really nice place to stop. Actually they have a lot of producs here, including food. The cashier was very friendly. A very short walk from Hotel Aura near the San Francisco airport.

Great place to get fresh halal meat at very affordable prices. The grocery store is limited in selection compared to others close by BUT they do carry most of everything you would commonly look for. But their selection of meats is much higher quality than those around them (besans).
