Nob Hill Foods

My favorite local grocery store, beats Spouts, Trader Joe's and Safeway. Their produce section is great. They have lots of organics and specialty products, but also all the regular stuff on your list. Shelf prices are not the lowest, but if you are a member you can get some really good savings. I routinely get personalized deals on the items I buy the most, 20% off on all produce, I have a $20 savings coupon waiting for me on my next visit. They also have special pricing on Mondays. Staff is friendly and they have self-checkout, which I like because I prefer to pack my own bags in the way that makes sense for me to unpack them at home. House brand is Raley's, it's not bad.

We did our wedding florals through Nob Hill at this location and it did NOT disappoint. Florals tend to be such an expensive cost in the wedding industry, but Nob Hill made it very budget-friendly for such a beautiful outcome. The ordering process was seamless and Kristi, the floral director was such help. We ordered a few months in advance and had to have someone pick up the flowers the day of the wedding at the grocery store. A compact, great store that has most of what you need. The staff are very friendly and I th in the management is quite good. Recommend highly!

Oh this place is amazing for most of the pricing and then there is the other little sections that I can't believe the prices, so buyer beware. This store is stocked people are helpful

Very nice store. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The meat department has a nice selection of items. They stock Angelo Pietro Salad dressings and Yamasa soy sauce in Asian section. Parking is a little limited.

Knob Hill is a great local grocery store. They have well staffed check stands, a deli, a butcher, and plenty of selections.

Added perk - they sell Dry Ice!

One of my go-to grocery stores because it's close. The best thing about shopping here is the customer service. Much nicer than safeway or luckys. Otherwise it's a regular grocery store. Most the selection is much like any other store. Very nice and helpful employees - really nice people!

They have an amazing range of microwavable meals and sushi and sandwiches.

I love Nob Hill. The staff is wonderful, helpful and kind. They store has a great variety of organic, paleo, whole foods and standard American diet options.

Plenty of cleaning/ disinfecting supplies and a reasonable price. Their produce is always fresh and store is always clean.
NOT CROWDED

Update 7/24/10 - This past weekend, there was a younger lady managing the deli counter while training a fairly new employee. I was quite impressed by her aptitude and ability to manage four customers who were taking advantage of a promotion. She ran operations like a clockwork and knew exactly how to manage customer expectations. The Nob Hill management team really has a good feel for high quality personnel. I can only wish that such service were mirrored across the industry. When it comes to checkout, however, I choose the self-checkout service 9 out of 10 times due to convenience. Unlike other grocery stores, Nob Hill even has the regular checkout lines under control. Keep it up!

Luckily, the same representative from last time was at the deli this Saturday. He's very customer oriented and made sure my order was processed correctly. Compared to other grocery stores in the area, Nob Hill still has that unique feeling that a customer is welcome instead of being just a number in the crowd. This location usually has sufficient parking and the quality is overall good.

Decent amount of options for dairy free and gluten free so I’ll definitely be back!

Love this store! The people in each department and the cashiers are so friendly and helpful. Had an exceptional experience in the meat and fish department today. The gentleman working there offered to bring out more of the whole salmon fillets if I didn't like the ones that were pre-packaged. I was able to get one that was nearly 5lbs!

I had not shopped here in a long time. I thought it cost more. It's a great place to shop. No displays blocking the shelves, checkers remove your groceries from the cart, the groceries are bagged and happily taken to your car. The cost of my food was less than the last 5 shopping trips to other stores. Great shopping day.

It's a nice store with ployees that are customer friendly. Also, they are a little pricy. All in all a good neighbor hood store. I didn't get a chance to finish, sorry. I have say this about the store and its employees, and there excellent , customer service. I came in just to buy a loaf of bread and I was escorted to the bread as well as a few more items I didn't think they would have. In closing , the first hurriedly part of my statement about the store , pretty much stands. Nothing but a very well stocked and very courteously managed store. Sorry no pics. L.Smith
