They always have the best toys for my dog and her favorite dog food which is Rachael Ray dog food. Overall, the store was very clean and organized and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I've only had my dog for 6 months and I've been coming to the riverbank Petco for years for my cats but now that I have a dog she absolutely loves coming to this store. Thank you very much for staying in business in my area and for the excellent services and products. 🙌🏼

Everything was good except for the fact the delivery driver left package on front door step in the pouring rain. Could have went around back & left on patio out of the rain. Box fell apart before I got it in the house. But from the time I ordered to the time of delivery was like 3 days.

Their grooming service is phenomenal, and staff are kind and very generous. They genuinely listen and even call to ask permissions on further services. I truly appreciate this locations service. Thank you, staff!

I have been taking my frenchies to be groomed and for vet care here for the last 2 years. I feel very confident in the care and service they receive.

Vetco - They are so amazing here! I brought my cat here for a 1 year wellness + vaccines.

I called prior to going to the appointment and they took time to make sure everything was addressed.

At the appointment (Stephanie - tech and Dr Hartzell-Duhm - vet) were so kind, loving and friendly, My cat really liked them both which was a relief to me! I’m so happy to have found him his vet! I will definitely come back here in the future!

Our male cat was neutered and everyone was nice and professional and the procedure went quick. They all seemed to love the animals they care for.

They had a good variety of products and I love that the area where the adoptable cats were was well stocked, even with toys, and they had access to the other cats so they wouldn't get lonely or bored.

I ran out of dog food before my auto delivery and so had to go buy some. I asked for help lifting the 70# bag into my car and they had no problem assisting me. Very friendly and polite.

Always nice people to help. Lots of varieties of known and new products. I wish they had items for cat enclosures, but other than that, they have a lot of stock. I actually have bought cleaning supplies for urine for an elderly fellow I help.

My experience with the company Petco overall is one of those love/hate relationships. Like many businesses out there, it's as if you end up working with separate institutions that is confusing at every level... What corporate does, is different from what their online side does, and these are both different from what the physical stores do. It can be maddening, and this is one of the pitfalls of Petco unfortunately. Furthermore, if you need to return something, be prepared to receive a gift card instead of having your money returned. This is a poor way to preserve a business as you should always return a customers money. Essentially you're saying, sorry we didn't mean your needs, and you'll still have to do business with us. Uncool! If you're unable to preserve earnings by doing good business by meeting customers needs, then any of your following efforts are just waiting to meet with failure.

Yet I gave five stars and here's why... The experience I had at the Riverbank store, both with the Vetco and store staff was amazing. As the vet was busy and processing the scripts took forever, I was consistently updated on the status, which helped me to remain patient and ultimately satisfied.

In the simplest of terms I had a great experience and I highly recommend this store. The Manteca Petco is also pretty rad too, and I would recommend them as well. Be aware though, that this store doesn't have a Vetco and thus doesn't offer prescription based products.

Lastly I would like to point out that if you find you need info from Petco, then I would highly recommend calling the store versus contacting the telephone customer service or corporate office. They can be nearly if not completely unhelpful. This side of Petco gets 2 stars... You shouldn't be separate companies, yo. This is confusing, frustrating, and ultimately hampers your business. A better job can most definitely be done, and I would suggest, should be done. If not for their stores being great, I wouldn't do business with them, sadly.
