Everyone was friendly and kind. I just recently moved nearby and don’t have a car so I tend to only get what I can carry but the friendly staff offered to get me a basket, the staff stocking the shelves offered assistance multiple times, and the cashier that helped check me out was very friendly and sociable. Definitely coming back.

I have lived in four different states that all have a dollar general.... Including Texas. Which is of course Dollar General's homebase, i do believe. Never. Never have i seen a more clean Dollar General than this one. Ever. The service is hasty (thats a good word). The employees there are exemplary. Of course they are all women, which makes sense. I give it five stars because there is not team that could do that job better. Kudos!

Mile high sandwiches.
Gluten free? No problem.

I have been an employee with Fortuna Dollar General for a few months, but all mine and my family's shopping is done here! I love all the deals we always have, and all of the staff are amazing! Reading some reviews I see most say "packed isles and dirty floors", but with the new management over us and a great team, I hope you revisit and see the REAL Dollar General and enjoy our store as much as others including ourselves.

Describe this place? Sure, I'll do my best. Imagine all your hopes and dreams coming to life in a single place. One "magical kingdom" if you will. That's Disneyland. Dollar general has nothing to do with that but you will be amazed at the variety of relatively quality items at affordable prices!

I actually didn't have enough money for my purchase (I had evidently misplaced a $100.00 bill 😞) and I wasn't even close to being able to afford what I had and did not know what to do ‼ I broke down crying and everything. They were so sweet and just like hey, stuff happens, I'm sure you will find it ❣ The manager came over and she put her arm around me and said ohh honey, don't cry... We'll save All of your stuff, just put the whole cart right here (behind the counter) and then you can come back and not have to go get everything all over again, okay ⁉
You could tell They truly felt bad for me and I felt badly for them too. It was really an uncomfortable moment that they handled extremely well and I cannot say enough great things and thank yous ❣❣❣ I did go back and get my stuff which actually surprised the next shift manager. She said nine times out of ten, it doesn't happen. I even had exact change and that made her really happy 🌞

Fast Shopping, Thrifty Store.
We shop here for the essentials, paper products, plastic bags of all kinds, foil cook pans, etc. Soo many different types of goods to buy at a reduced price. Trash bins, underwear, canned goods, candy, chips and cookies. All at very low prices. Good place to Shop. Come here once a week. Will recommend to Everyone.

way cool place.. great employees too.. always friendly and help- full.. beer always a good price and a pretty good selection on simple foods. *they take Ebt too*.. fine prices on pet foods .. they truly have a lil bit of everything at fair prices.

The dollar general in rio dell ca is sooooo busy, thats the reason for the occasional understocking of some things ive found that if im patient and i ask, usually, the helpful staff can find me what im looking for or a suitable substitute soon enough. Prices are great , quality is good, better than walleyes lol.

Awesome place to get great deals, very friendly staff and there is a convenient place to lock up a bicycle if that is your means of transportation. I would give 6 stars if possible

Lots of selection for a small store. Even have a variety of groceries. Employees nice. Store clean.

Bought a really cool bird feeder for just a few bucks. Can't really beat the deals they have!
