Lowes Foods of West Ashley

My 1st time going here and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. I was expecting your typical grocery store, rows of food items, and such. But no, this place reminded me of a Wholefoods. Clean, welcoming, bright, and airy. Items seemingly priced accordingly. It's just a great grocery store shopping experience.

The atmosphere is always clean, friendly, and vibrant. I enjoy the diversity in selections and the prices are fair. The Lowes food items are incredibly well made and taste amazing as well.

I went there for the first time today, was pleasantly surprised. The space is more packed yet you can feel their arrangements are very considerate. They got a food court with fresh subs, meats and the price is unbeatable, and a nice cafe serving boxcar coffee (good coffee actually) Love this supermarket.

Nice store, great selection, beer on tap and service, bit pricey.

Cool grocery store! The layout was very appealing, the beer and wine section hits you in the face the second you walk in. It also has it's own bar! We went there for a bit cake for my daughter's birthday and they did not disappoint. The staff were super helpful also. Wish we had one of these in Moncks Corner.

Fresh food, bread, meat and other assorted items. And super deals. We love shopping at Lowes Foods.

Can’t say enough nice things about the West Ashley store. The employees are the best. Always nice and helpful. They like their job and it shows. This group could teach a-lot to other grocery stores. The place is clean and pride is evident. We drive an hour in to go here. It is worth the effort! Lowes- give this group a bonus, they are worth it!!!

Love, love, love this place. Fresh produce, baked goods, meat. I go out of my way to go to this very clean, never crowded store

I love Lowe's variety and quality of store-branded products. At first opening, I was disappointed by stock outs and availability of fresh produce and often had to do 2-stop shopping. That is no longer the case. I now use Lowes as my primary destination for groceries and convenience purchases. I love the variety of product offerings and the well-trained, friendly, and engaging staff...keeps me coming back! Great business model.

I've been coming here since they converted the Bi-Lo. I love the Sausageworks and the funny names they have for the different sausages. The Beer Den is great and I have enjoyed it several times. I have no issue with their selections at all and all the staff are friendly and courteous. They used to have silly sounds on the self checkout lines when you paid but they seemed to have discontinued that, too bad, I really enjoyed it.

First time to shop at Lowe's Foods of West Ashley. It used to be Bio Lo, and I shopped at this location 7 years ago. It has the same set up. I had a great experience, good customer service.

Service staff so pleasant. Cody in meat department could not have been more helpful. I will return!

They have such friendly staff. Their bakery is delicious. Wide variety of items you wouldn't find everywhere. Their pick and prep is great for parties. Thanks Lowes!

I'm loving having a Lowes foods nearby. There were a few where I used to live, and they're a great store. I'm hoping this location will open a coffee shop inside like the others have because their coffee is fantastic. Great selection, similar to Harris Teeter. I do miss Bi-Lo but I wouldn't want any other grocery store to replace it besides Lowes. Really a fantastic switch.
EDIT: they did put in the coffee bar along with the many other amenities! So exciting. Lowes will probably be my new coffee spot.
The people who work at the coffee bar are the best and always make the most delicious drinks! They have a lot of flavors and the price is 2-3 dollars cheaper than other coffee shops.
I think the bad reviews are unwarranted and a lot likely came from the transition period where the store was disorganized. Give it a try.

This is my first time shopping at a Lowe's (Tuesday 6/8/2021) and I have to admit I was impressed enough to leave a review. Freshest produce I've ever had was in this store. I bought a sampling of everything from the produce section and especially loved the tomato bar where you grab loose tomatoes of different varieties and make your own box. The iceberg lettuce was thick with no brown spots, the romaine head was equally enormous, the celery was big and fresh, every single piece of produce I bought was in top condition. Hot food bar was great and all the employee's were very nice and helpful, best grocery store in the area by far!

Lowes Foods West Ashley is wonderful. I have been using their carside to-go grocery pickup for almost a year now. The staff are always helpful and kind, efficient and reliable. Now that the store interior has been updated the coffee bar is amazing and I can always find what I'm looking for and more while shopping.

Nice and clean. The chicken station is delicious. The bakery is also on point! The butcher department is the best. I shop their sales often for the best value. They do a fantastic job with their displays. Very inviting! Can't wait for salad bar and beer den!

Had my doubts about this place during the change from BiLo to Lowes but they managed to pull it off and now it's one of my fave stores to go to. The specialty sections alone are enough to draw one in. Smoked meats and fish basically on demand? Uh, yes please! Good beer and wine selection too!
