My favorite cheese shop I’ve ever been to. Ask the cheesemonger any questions or for recommendations, they are always really knowledgeable and helpful. I also recommend the “Cheese 101” class they offer a few times a year, which gives all sorts of insight and information into cheese.

One of the gems of Fairfield. This shop has such a wonderful selection of cheeses and other gourmet food items. The friendly and knowledgeable staff serve as an astute guide through the constantly rotating varieties of yumminess.

Found them thru a Google search. Great selection of cheese as well as meats, spreads, chips, and some small gadgets. Knowledge staff, friendly and helpful. Great recommendations for cheeses and pairings. Big fan. Repeat customer.

Laura and Chris have done an incredible job providing the pinnacle of customer service, along with education, quality, and of course, great taste. They also support their staff and the food landscape as a whole. One of the best shops in the US!

Hidden gem located on the Post Road in Fairfield well worth the visit for cheese connoisseurs. Their selection is phenomenal and the staff is friendly and helpful. I was particularly that they had the specific cheeses need to make a traditional Swiss Fondue! My guests were impressed, and that's saying a lot considering they are Swiss.

Omg what a wonderful selection of cheeses. They are so nice there. You can sample before purchasing. They also do cheese platters and gift baskets. Oh and they have lots of other goodies. Definitely try them if you like good cheese.

Wide variety of cheeses and gourmet products at fair prices. The knowledgeable and friendly staff make shopping there a particularly pleasant experience, and greatly increase the likelihood that you will enjoy your cheese purchases even if you are experimenting.

I finally got a chance to stop in the Fairfield Cheese Co last Saturday afternoon and was so surprised with the selection and the friendly service. The owners were welcoming, knowledgeable and really made what can be an intimadating purchase fun! They have over 100 different selections and seem to specialize in American artisanal. I left with a piece of Hooligan and a perfect piece of Humbodt Fog.

This place is incredible, better than any of the cheese shops by me in nyc. I worked as a cheese monger for several years and am so grateful for the thoughtful curation. What a shop! So happy to have this so close to my Connecticut home.

Such a fun thing to do to go and taste different cheeses to make a selection. Staff is friendly and ridiculously knowledgeable fit recommendations.
