Stitch N Time

My wife drives an hour just to get fabric, thread, and advice on quilting. She also attends classes they host for quilters. When her machines break or need servicing we go to them. I have added just one picture to show how far she has progressed.

Great stock of Bernina machines and Babylock. Large selection of custom made cabinets. The owner is very knowledgeable. Large store of fabric and notions. Lots of activity in the modern class area. Very nice store. Now if only I had $15k to spend I’d be all set there.

These are the nicest people you will ever deal with, and their products are top-notch. I have bought both Bernina and Baby Lock machines here, and the support is great.

This is a wonderful quilting, sewing machine, embroidery plus much more store. They have such a wonderful staff, so knowledgeable, friendly, able and ready to answer questions you have. Their pricing is fair and their repair service, should you need it, wonderful.

I had a wonderful experience today with their repair service! I called about a problem with my machine. I did not purchase it from them and it is not even a brand they sell. However, the technician was willing to speak with me directly. He told me that the problem most like was a pin or other object lodged inside the embroidery arm. I asked if it was something I might be able to fix myself, as I really needed my machine immediately. He said it probably was and explained what to do. I was able to get into the machine, removed a straight pin and was quickly running again. What a wonderful experience! I will be having all my maintenance performed at this shop in the future. And if I choose to purchase another machine in the future, this will be where I go. Thanks to them for their kindness, honesty and professionalism.

After much shopping, I purchased my Bernina from Stitch In Time almost 9 years ago. I find Curtis and his staff to be very helpful and knowledgeable about all things related to my sewing machine, quilting projects or sewing. I am always greeted when I enter the store and everyone is friendly. My questions are patiently answered, new products are demonstrated and my machine is serviced in a timely manner. I usually leave the store inspired to sew after seeing all the beautiful store samples. I highly recommend Stitch in Time.

My sister and I stopped just to see what they had. Even though we purchased our machines from different dealers the staff treated us as if we got them there.
Knowledgeable about all the machines, no deer in the headlights look when you started asking questions about the machines. I was impressed and that's not an easy thing to do; I am a Tailor, Bridal seamstress and professional embroiderer.
They get our business from now on and our next machine purchase will be from here (and I have my eyes on several machines). It's an hour drive for us to get there.

They are an amazing store. They fixed my Viking mega quilter for me. Prices are good and everyone is very friendly.

Decent prices, and a dealer who works with you to get you what you need for any task. I've been in classes where there are several foot options for a task. They encourage you to try the various options in class and only purchase when you find what works for you. I usually learn something every time I visit just talking to the owner or staff.

Well worth the drive, even from No. Va. area! Delightful shop. Very knowledgeable staff. Dealer for Bernina, BabyLock, and last but not least HandiQuilter. Repairs on all makes and models performed on site. Both owners and creative sewing and embroidery classes are offered. Stop by - you will be so glad you did!
