I'm a die hard thrifter. This Salvation Army, is by far my favorite SA in OR, WA and ID. I think because there is a shortage of Thrift shops in the area, there is a wide variety of things to chose from. Because their inventory is always so large, they have been able to keep their prices down unlike many other SA's.
The store is always immaculate and organized. Customer service is wonderful.
You must wear a mask inside, NO exceptions.

Of course, everything at the Salvation Army is used. All of the items in the store are donations from people who didn't want these things anymore. But if you're a Thrifty shopper and always looking for a bargain, quite often you can find a lot of like new items items there. Electronics, like microwaves and coffee makers, and DVD players if you're lucky, are all tested by the staff to see if they function. So although all items in Salvation Army are sold as is, you can rest assured that electronic items will work. The other thing about the Salvation Army is there are four different colors of stickers on the items. You have white, yellow, green, blue. Depending on what color the price tag is, you either get 25%, 50% or 75% off the price. It isn't uncommon to find something that is only priced at $3.95, and have it also be 75% off that price.

Good prices, friendly people, not near as full as it used to be a year ago but still fun to prowl around.
