Hannaford

I don't usually shop at Hannaford because of their high prices. I was in the area, someone asked me to stop specifically at Hannaford and I had a coupon.
When I entered, I was impressed by the size of the store and selection of products. This Hannaford reminded me of the one in Manchester and the one in York, Maine. High ceilings, plenty of space to move around, large produce section and multiple self checkout registers. I liked the variety of prices at the meat department. The bakery 🧁 is about the same size as other Hannaford's but there is more room to move and a bigger selection. Chips has its own large selection in one corner of the store. There are several isles of chips and similar snacks.
I noticed a RedBOX BOX near the entrance.
Large parking 🅿 lot. They need to shovel the snow ❄ out the carriage corrals.
They have an online grocery service. Prepared foods and meals to go.
If I have coupons and I am in the area, I'll stop by again. I recommend this Hannaford.

Very nice Hannaford's. Good deli and bakery, great fish and butcher shops/counters. Goods size store with most grocery options. Good beer and wine selection.

I love Hannafords. Their Grill or Oven ready tray meals are the best. I recently had to try to learn to cook. Key word, try.. I wasted food, over or under cooked it, it tasted horrible, you name it. Forget the clean up. Then I discovered these dinners. I cook my meals in my air fryer. I open the tray that the dinner comes in and throw it right in the air fryer, most for 15 minutes. They come with a seasoning butter. They sell separate trays with extra seasoned butters. I regret not getting the shrimp scampi one and next time, I will. Often, there is enough leftover for a small lunch the next day. They have a wide variety. From salmon burgers, Chicken and Steak to maple and sage rubbed pork tenderloin. They come with different vegetables. Summer vegetables, asparagus, green beans. It took me a little over a year to figure out, that cooking for one and not knowing how to cook is quite hard and was not working for me . Many times I threw my hands up and ordered take-out. Too many times and too much money. It's great to have a nice, healthy meal at home. All I have to clean up is the air fryer. I hope they never stop selling these. If you need to cook for more than one, they have larger trays, as well. Their bakery is the best. So good, I, try not to look. Their blueberry pies, cookies, muffins. I had a blueberry filled muffin from their bakery and it was everything you would hope it would be. My friends loved them. They were so good I had to share. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Grocery shopping was hard for me, prior to discovering these dinners. I always forget one item that I needed for my dinner. I, grab a bunch of these and they freeze very well.

I love this store. It’s well stocked, and the people who work there are so helpful and nice. Just went this past weekend, and asked someone in the meat dept if they could cut up a brisket for me. They were more than accommodating - they ALWAYS are. Again, I love this store.

Fresh food all the time. The pharmacy is the best in Derry NH

The guy named Chris is the best worker their 100% he should get a raise

I enjoy shopping in the meat department. They have great sales and I find the meat to be good quality. The staff, especially Tony and Jameson are always very helpful. They answer my questions, make suggestions and help me find items I'm looking for. For Christmas I purchased Scallops that were fantastic and Prime Rib that was absolutely amazing. In fact the Prime Rib was so good I purchased a second on to have on hand because of the sale price. I don't know the butcher's name but he did a great job prepping the Prime Rib.
They all deserve a pat on the back and Thank you from me.

They have good service there. Pharmacy is out of this world and sometimes you can find things but other times she can't find the things that you need. Otherwise it's a good store

Recently remodeled looks like every other grocery store in the world. Mostly self-service only one or two registers with cashier's. Sorry you don't pay me to ring and bag.

First time in there it was immaculate,employees very helpful and nice.Really a big store they had just about everything.

Just picked up my to go order. Store was all out of my dairy free items but that's ok, it happens. Brought my bill below my coupon total however. I mentioned it and my coupon was honored!! Super impressed and love every member of the to go team I've interacted with at the Derry location. Always helpful and knowledgeable. Our home store for sure.

Great produce, local and organic options, could use some more variety, but overall better than other stores.

Love that they have a whole section for organic, specialty foods all together so I don't have to run all over the store to buy a few things. I shop 2-3 times a week for a single person so it's very helpful to keep fresh food with quick shopping trips.

Store is always clean. Staff is always around to help. Lines for deli and meats are fast and efficient. I've also done the hannaford to go and loved it. My only problem sometimes is theres not enough cashiers when its busy. Other then that love going there instead of market basket.

The butcher/seafood section of this hannafords had closed and we were looking to grab some lobster. We asked the manager if anybody was available to fill the order and he gloved up and got them himself!! Outstanding customer service!! We are so happy to have a place and people like this in our community!

Great selection and their sushi is much-improved over the past few years!

Very helpful to customers. I was second in line. A gentleman was looking for a certain item. Who asked a woman who was already helping another customer. Another employee "John " knew what it was and offered to walk him to it. Didn't slow down anything!!
